I'll expand. I want a number one that doesnt sound generic or sample another song.

 

Does it matter if a song uses samples? Nobody to Love samples Bound 2, and it's a great song (as is the original). We also had other #1s recently sampling Elton John and Whitney Houston and they're great too. Imagine all the brilliant songs that wouldn't even exist if it weren't for sampling.

'Hideaway' is far from generic, yes it is a pop/dance track but it's very fresh sounding.
