Looks like we're having a top 10 clear out this week! With Kiesza, Meridian Dan, Shift K3Y, Elyar Fox and Tove Lo potentially entering the top 10. Nice to see some movement.

I'm still not sure if 'Touch' is the right side of catchy or just unbelievably annoying! Surely gonna be completely forgotten about in a couple of years time though.

Pretty sure the majority of these random dance songs at the higher end of the chart will be forgotten about in a couple of years time (except Rather Be and maybe Nobody To Love) in all honesty.

Dance music has been popular for years has it not? I Got U, My Love and Stay The Night are definitely going to be remembered.

Anyway who cares if it's remembered or not while we get some tunes out of it.

Stay The Night?! I love that song but I doubt that will be remembered. I Got U and My Love do not have much to them really to be remembered that well. Dance songs often get forgotten about because they do not have much identity, the only ones from the past couple of years that have been remembered and will continue to be are Wake Me Up, Waiting All Night, Feel The Love and Get Lucky (is that dance? idk) I think. Nothing to do with my personal taste, but it is always how I have seen it.

I think out of this year's dance hits: 'Rather Be', 'Waves' and 'Hideaway' will be the most remembered. 'My Love' sounds like one of those songs people will hear in a few years time and think 'oh I forgot about that song, I really liked it!'
Yeah, I think dance hits are mostly confined to being forgotten quite quickly and then maybe being revisited in later years as 'forgotten classics' like Thermo said. And I say this as someone who's loving the dance domination at the moment.
Oh how could I forget Hideaway? Probably going to be one of the most remembered songs of the decade if anything.

I think it's too early to say about Waves? I personally find it quite forgettable anyway and I don't think it'll do as well as Rather Be and Hideaway have/are.

Waves shouldn't even have been thought about in the first place let alone remembered.
