How bizarre that Swedish House Mafia's live album has apparently been allowed to chart when their 2 previous albums weren't? This new one is no different as it also features a variety of different artists  Maybe it's just a mistake and it'll be deleted again later.

Elbow's album is holding up brilliantly, back in the top 10 today!

do you think kiezsa can hold on to the top spot come sunday?

Fantastic second day sales for Paolo. He now only needs to sell 10.25k a day on average to make the 100k mark, which seems doable IMO.

Great sales for Kiesza! :D Shift K3y top 3 ~ amazing! :cheer:

Pleasing that Showtek is on course to make the top thirty! <3

G'won PAOLO keep The Vamps off the No1 spot!

I think she'll plummet straight out of the top-10 by Sunday, as everybody is gaining on her in iTunes.

I don't think it is such a bad thing Kylie's album going out of top 40, it will be back with more promo etc. She is not discounting anything at moment. Full price everywhere...... so can't be that bothered until nearer the time of her new single etc.

Indeed think they were on Jools Holland which will help them this week!

Just noticed The Hoosiers' new album hasn't even sold 622 copies (this week) yet. What a fall from grace! :o Well when all you fan pre-orders are distributed the week before general release, what else can you expect? I haven't even bought it yet, the first 2 singles have been decent, but not what I was hoping for, and certainly not a patch on any of their previous singles. :(

I remember your Hoosiers fandom from ChC days so :( I have to admit I've heard none of their new material.

I hope Paolo Nutini can make 100,000 this week. Does Easter weekend usually have a positive effect on sales?
^ I think, if anything, it would be positive with schools being closed (during the week that is :P). Not to mention people having family over at the weekend > being in need of some background music to set the atmosphere > getting their new Paolo CD to send him over 100k .

I'm really surprised Paolo has remained so relevant 5 years later. I thought he might get some decent-ISH sales, but nowhere near a 100k opening. I thought he'd be a radio 2 affair only, too - surprised Radio 1 still care.

Not really... Easter falls on a Sunday, some shops are still open, plus its a new sales week.

For some Good Friday is pretty much of a normal day for everyone these days with some corner shops closing early. Some people might respect the public holiday though due to the nature of the term of Good Friday.

Most seem to get the 2 days after easter off instead over here|!

And we have some info for today, Kiesza on 98k and Paolo Nutini on 70k, unfortunately this will probably be our last update for the week, someone else will post a Thursday update pretty soon.

Kylie Minogue just creeping back slowly inside the top 40, out by 2 places with her album. :P

Most big supermarkets like Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's etc have to close by law on Easter Sunday, apart from the Tesco Express stores. Someone told me it goes on how many staff they employ in total in the store. Anyway Sunday's sales would count towards next week's.

TIP: Go to supermarkets on Monday for half-price Easter eggs and your Paolo album.
