April 16, 201412 yr Surprised they even bothered to playlist G.U.Y. to be honest. Can only see it making the B list for a week or two though. I don't understand this? They supported both Applause and Do What U Want, and neither of them exactly flopped. ARTPOP was also a #1 album and could've done a lot worse too, so it was always quite obvious that G.U.Y. was gonna be playlisted.

I'm glad Kid Ink is playlisted (shame Show Me didn't though :(). Money and the Power is a great song, but I wanted Main Chick as the next single (but it's been released in the US and isn't doing that well, so maybe it's for the best). Nice to see Meridian Dan on the C-list as well. The song is dropping fast on iTunes, so a play a day could make a little difference. I really through Radio 1 would have playlisted it pre-release tbh. You'd think any sign of a grime song doing well in the charts and they'd be on it straight away. :lol:

April 16, 201412 yr From memory I'm pretty sure they did B list it - didn't it rise slowly up the chart too which is a sign radio 1 supported it. Also on the Lily A list addition I was sure they would A list her, I'd use the album release as an impact date for it since it was an on air release and that's 5/5 I think!

April 17, 201412 yr I was obsessed with Alors on Danse too. I actually heard it a few weeks ago and went crazy. :lol: I remember when Radio 1 first started playing Alors On Danse, it used to boost the song loads on iTunes every time.

For some reason, I always associate both that and 'Alors On Danse' together, so maybe Aly was getting mixed up too? :P (Even so though, he should have remembered which song he had been "following closely". :kink: (LY Aly :P) ) I could swear that one of those euro-dance songs had not been playlisted but went on to do amazingly well. But my memory is terrible anyway... :heehee:
