MUSICAL CHAIRS: Gwen Stefani will step in as a judge on NBC's The Voice when Christina Aguilera takes time off to have her baby, TMZ has reported. Taping begins on season 7 in June. Speaking of new arrivals, Stefani's long-awaited new solo album is also in the works. (4/19p)

Can't wait for her to have a new solo album. Bar "Don't Speak" and "It's My Life", I prefer her solo music.

YES! I adore her, I loved most of her singles even if The Sweet Escape as an album was quite patchy.

Love Angel Music Baby is still flawless.

I'm surprised some of you have managed to forget about the FOUNDATION OF NIGHTMARES that is The Sweet Escape.

The Sweet Escape was a complete tune! One of the best of 2007.

I look forward to it. I LIKED The Sweet Escape but it was a pretty bug comedown from the debut. I hope this will be an improvement.

Ew, definitely not here for her solo stuff! I only like 'The Sweet Escape' and 'Cool'.

Cannot wait, 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby' is one of my favourite, if not my favourite, albums of all time. And her singles are almost entirely superb, so I'm really excited for this.

Her first solo outing was strong but the second wasn't so good. Look forward to this though!

The second was all leftovers from #1 so I'm excited!!

'Cool' will forever remain her best for me. One of my very favourite songs :wub: Also, 'Don't Get It Twisted' is one of the most bat shit crazy, amazing songs. :heart: Looking forward to hearing what she comes up with. I do find her first album hella overrated though. It's decent, but it's really not as filler free as people like to suggest it is. :(

Not sure whether to look forward to this or not. Interested in what she's gonna release though. Hopefully she gives us another 'What U Waiting For' and not a 'Sweet Escape'.
