L M A O THE SAX BREAKDOWNS IN THIS SOUND LIKE

!!!!!!!!

HAA!!!

I do quite like a bit of Cheryl, but I'm not really sold on this at all.

Not a fan of the artwork either, but then that's nothing new with her.

Surprised the reaction has been mostly positive on here, everywhere else I have looked it has been mainly negative.

I do think it should get a week at #1 but will not be the big hit so many are expecting.

Hmm this is ok, very disappointing though... I love the chorus and the "la la la" parts are really catchy but the sax breakdown is just awful, it sounds very hollow and unfinished, it makes the whole track sound a bit demo-y. Hopefully it'll grow.

I can't see this being a big hit at all, it will most probably get to #1 but I'm not convinced it will do any better than, or even as well as, Call My Name.

Well, this is shit. It sounds like it wants to be Problem or Talk Dirty but it just sounds so lame. Maybe her last era was just a one off.
Actually the sax parts remind me of the keyboards we used to have in music lessons at school that had weird pre-recorded saxophone tunes on them when you pressed certain buttons, and everyone would play those noises to annoy the teacher
I like the verses and the bridge, but the sax instrumental - no to that. I think the "la la la la la la la love" part needed to be on top of those bits, like it is from 3:10 in the lyric video.

I too like this, but don't quite love it. The Sax breakdown is off putting due to it actually leading nowhere, despite the chorus promising something else. It's a shame because this has potential to be a big summer smash I think and everything else is great! I just think the sax breakdown makes it very cheap sounding.

Still, nothing will ever top 'Fight For This Love' it seems!

No matter anyone's opinion of the sax, the one at the end is definitely not needed, it makes me laugh each time  It could easily end on the 'la la la love'.
Jesus christ that's awful. The chorus bit is okay but as everyone else has said the sax is horrible. I'm sure she thought of it as a 'quirky dance break' for her live performances or something. The only redeeming part is the second 'la la love' part as the first sounds hideously out of place and even then it's basic af.

The sax part feels a bit awkward, like it was just shoehorned in the place of a big dance breakdown or something, plus it's just so dull and undynamic. Really ruins the build up of the song.

Asides from that, I don't mind it that much. Tinie still proving as useless as ever.

LMAO, I literally can't unhear this now

It's a decent song. Something new for Cheryl and fairly different to what's going around in the charts at the moment. The chorus is good and it's nice and funky overall. I'll definitely be loving this shortly.

I was kind of right when I anticipated a "Sexy! No no no..." kind of single. This is the kind of song the public is either gonna love or hate and it is quite a risky choice as a single really. That's what is good about releasing a new single without the album, you can "dare" stuff and not be afraid of hurting the album sales.

I'm pretty sure the "lead" single will be a lot safer (like "Call the shots") to go with the album release.

This album is so gonna be her "Tangled up" (ie fourth album/best album).

Anyway, I'm loving this and I think it is perfect for the summer.

Also, I can't believe we're only 7 days away from the video release. WHAT A WEEK!

I genuinely burst out laughing at the end.

I LOVE IT.

I'm really not that keen. Bring back 'Call My Name' and '3 Words'.

BTW, Nadine would do this SO much better.

I definitely think its her weakest lead single to date, and it does seem a little demo like tbh, I think it'll be a grower though, I've only listened twice so far and it sounds much better second time round.

I didn't think of this before, but you mention it I completely agree! It does seem more like a song that might be on Insatiable, I think Nadine would pull it off better although I prefer Cheryl overall. Still, I don't think ANYONE could save the song from the saxophones!

I genuinely burst out laughing at the end.

Thought I'd check the song out to see what all the fuss was about and laughed aloud at the end trumpets too

The song is abysmal though tbh :/ I usually love Cheryl as well :(

Considering some of the dross she's released previously (Promise This, 3 Words, most of the first album and all of the second album) this isn't so bad surely.

When comparing to the other 3 lead singles, this is definitely the 2nd most instant for me after 'Fight For This Love'. 'Promise This' and in particular 'Call My Name' took many listens until they fully clicked with me. The only bit I wasn't sure about was the saxophone breakdown (the "chorus" before it is amazing!) but I'm used to it now after a couple of listens. Very good comeback single and I'm glad they used the saxophone breakdown rather than a generic dance breakdown!
You should've corrected A Million Lights to Cheryl Cole :kink:

I didn't expect her to return to Cole at all so I rescrobbled all her previous era's to Cheryl :drama:

Well at least it keeps me entertained I guess

I've listened to it a few times and I like it, but it's currently only above 3 Words, Heaven and Under The Sun for me
