Welcome to Vülkyria. The Semi-Finals will take place here in Gamlaborg, our 3rd biggest and sunniest city, where 50 songs will become 30.
You are asked to vote for your favourite 10 songs using the usual system: 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points.
You can only vote in your own Semi-Final but please do not score your own entry. Votes are final and non-amendable. If you do not vote you will lose 33% of your final score.

The Finalists will be going from the stage, into a taxi, to the airport for the next flight to Elëdan. Once there they’ll be put up in a posh hotel, given a free tour and, best of all, compete in the Buzzjack Song Contest Final on May 5th where they will have to compete with the Auto Qualified entries from the host country and Aeroche. Let's see what they came up with.

I've heard the Rex The Dog song. It's rather good so I hope it gets through to the final.

OOH doss as well. will be interesting to see how that / ben khan do compared to evian. (also 12 and 10 pointers already sorted sry ppl)

Ooh, the only songs I've heard aside from my own are Mad, Head Over Heels and Pushing On and (sorry Ethan :P) I don't like the latter so there's no real "oh I'm sure that'll be my 12 anyway" going on, looking forward to listening to an almost entirely fresh set of songs :D

I recognise a few of these artists (Bipolar Sunshine in particular, weren't they radio 1 playlisted?) but none of the songs seem cheap so that's good ^_^

This does seem like a pretty inspired set of songs compared to the usual, a fair few recycled artists as ever (including former Persephonian artist Meleka but we don't really like to talk about that entry any more) but the actual songs look fine. (Belinda Carlisle tho lol)

Oh dw I was exaggerating. Probably. 'Salt Carousel' is one of three (!!1!) non-mine entries that are already in my personal chart tho so that, 'Youth' and 'Belly Of The Beast' are my frontrunners so far. All in the other semi naturally. And I think most of the people who would vote for 'Serbia' are probably in the other semi as well. Bah.

Well as per, never heard of any of the acts/songs in my Semi (apart from Shola Ama), look forward to hearing them, will be voting tomorrow as it's my only convenient day :(
