Her single is currently the ninth most played song on radio so I don't think the snubbing is as widespread as you're making out :P.

Radio 2 alone can probably get you top 10 in the UK airplay chart though, so you can still get top 10 on the airplay chart even if you're ignored by 90% of the stations. The chart is ranked by audience, rather than spins I believe.

She's not being snubbed by ALL radios, but definitely stations like Radio 1 and Capital, ie. the ones that care more about the chart. Most of Paloma's support will be coming from Radio 2.

My point is that, judging by the single's airplay and sales progress, I'd imagine she's in the process of winning over a lot of commercial-leaning stations as well as her usual ones. But yeah, I'm aware the majority of her support will be coming from Radio 2 and the like.

Fair point about the chart being ranked by audience impressions - hadn't noticed that before :D. She is getting played by 188 stations though, which is more than all of the recent #1s and only 11 less than 'Rather Be' :P.

It's actually one of the biggest records on the Heart network at the moment too, so that's probably helping its sales more than Radio 2 in fact. It's not really a Radio 1 record.

The show has done wonder for Take That and Gary Barlow material, what looked like a dull week on the chart for me personally it now looks bright again.

Certainly not that bad! :P I wasn't aware of this Gary Barlow concert either in all fairness. If people are still asking after a week, then it could be as bad as 'What Now'!
