Helen is SO BORING and would indeed got to the Top 5 on her own anyway. Plus, she won't place high. I think Pauline knew she'd be a smaller threat than Mark for example.

I don't think Helen would've got top 5 at all, and my opinion of her is already dropping. Along with Pauline. I understand it's probably hard to trust someone when you've seen a bad VT of theirs, but give the guy a chance. Helen's decided she HATES him already, in spite of the fact she hasn't even seen the VT and has completely made up her opinion on him through word of mouth. Hating someone after a few hours over information you've heard from someone else is really harsh, and calling Jale a slug? Darling, you were a prostitute, get a load of yourself.

 

Can see myself already going off Pauline aswell, she's cemented her place as mother and she's sure as hell gonna make sure her opinion is the opinion of the "original girls". Saying about Chris, "he's not pissing in MY iamspamspamamiquot; and sneering at him from the far bed at the end. I smell a Carole, a possessive woman who's forced herself on the mother role.

 

Danielle, in spite of being a bit pathetic with her crying, is actually growing on me. As is Chris, but that's just me naturally warming towards someone being unfairly treated, probably more so than his actual personality. AHHH, so many opinions flowing from me after ONE highlights show. That's a good sign with regards to entertainment, I love this show :wub:

Helen and Tamara together is going to make for EXCELLENT entertainment. I am excited for the days to come :wub:

Hmm, lots happening already! Pretty much everything I want is being delivered. First of all, I'll say a typical "WINSTON!!!1!1!1 *.*" comment and praise god for the fact it was hot enough already to see him in those shorts!

 

As for the big events of the highlights show...

 

Very disappointed in both Pauline and Helen in a way, Pauline was bang out of order imo for setting about turning the house against Chris just from a couple of sarcastic comments in his VT. I hope she realises most people exaggerate a bit in their VTs, or they probably wouldn't get on the show, she just doesn't see the others doing so. I completely agree with Rob on the slight Carole vibes, we can only hope she doesn't get as bad as that and if she does I pray to god she doesn't last that long. Having said all that, at least the way she used the knowledge (even if it was something that was questionable) she gained from seeing the six housemates VTs show that she isn't a wasteful choice for the power trip. I just think she was too judgemental and took what the housemates said too literally, and she was quite nasty about it. I really didn't like her "petulant brat" comment about Ashleigh either, because she came across as quite the opposite to me, very sweet and bubbly and fun. I do hope the comment was just because of her age and Pauline was looking down on her because of that :/

 

As for Helen, I'm not sure whether she's just bitchy or really clever and using the opportunity of a final place to do something other than just coast through being nice :lol: Either way, I think her calling Jale a "slug" was just nasty, especially considering she didn't see the VTs so had even less to go on than Pauline. Saying Chris was "breaking up a family" was horribly dramatic too, they'd only been there 24 hours!

 

Didn't have much time for Danielle again tonight either, harsh as I may sound. She can't have seriously expected no conversations about sex at all in Big Brother! I get that it's her faith and she completely has the right to her thoughts, opinions and feelings, especially those that religion has socialised her into having, but I just felt a bit like she was really being overly dramatic bursting into tears over it. Again, I get that it's her religion and her faith is important to her but I just didn't take to her at all tonight and can't bring myself to sympathise with her.

 

 

But I take off my cynical lenses then we could really be in for some great game playing and it's very very promising that the first proper highlights show can be so easily dissected and there's loads to think about and discuss!

Came here to post basically all of this and thought everyone would disagree but glad you & Liam seem to think the same haha. Pauline & Helen came across bad last night and i can already see them being the witches of the group. Obviously still early days and i'm sure Pauline just wanted to spread some info so she doesn't go crazy with all the thoughts in her head but she came across really snidy with it :( Helen and Tamara too.

 

Felt really bad for Chris having had all these comments about him spread and then no one really offering up a bed space readily for him. I can't see who he will befriend in there so it's going to be hard for him i thinl. I'm still not a massive fan of him but i can see myself warming to him even more if they continue to ostracize him.

I, personally, haven't turned against Tamara, she's still one of my favourites. I think she will be amongst that group but when Helen, her and Chris were stood together, Tamara turned away looking really awkward and didn't actually say anything. Naturally as Helen's mate she seemed to stay with her, probably out of comfort, but she didn't say too much of a negative or judgmental nature, aside from reacting to what Pauline said when she was being told.

 

There is a small part of me with Chris, as much as I feel sorry for him, that feels like this is part of a plan. Funny how on the first night me and Klumzee were able to identify he'd be ostracised (not his fault really!), but I think, as an actor, he'll definitely be able to lay on the victim act rather thick. I do think I'm gonna warm to him purely through my nature of warming to anyone who becomes an outsider.
