I'm really surprised 'Walking On Air' is doing so well, especially in the states.

It's very early 90s UK dance.

Not sure but Taylor Swift may have done it, or Glee Cast (back in its prime), or maybe Adele after her Grammy performance last year? I feel like the top 4 was three Adele songs and Whitney Houston...

EDIT: Yes it did happen with Adele, but I forgot that Katy Perry was #1. Adele was 3 4 and 5. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=3898153

Good find (and memory) :).

You were absolutely right that Whitney was #1 when Adele got to #2, 3, 4 - check out the link below - same thread as yours, just 3 pages earlier:

Adele also got to #3, 4, 5 the page before with Whitney at #1 - 4 pages earlier than your link.

Oh wow! I'm glad you noticed that!

It probably also happened with Michael Jackson after his death, does that count?

EDIT: Ta-dah http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=2629201

He had 2, 3, 4, AND 5! :o

Katy's doing very well as her chart performance isn't Grammy or death related.

What caused 'Dark Horse' to suddenly rise??

It hasn't been discounted, so did she perform it somewhere or is there a video?

The IHeartRadio Music Festival was on TV (but pre-recorded) Monday and Tuesday. Katy's set was televised Monday night, and she performed it then.

Lorde back at #1 woop. Was beginning to worry she wasn't going to get back there after her single version deletion (I still don't understand why they do that in the USA).
