I understand what being number 2 right at this moment means :lol: but it certainly doesn't mean that only one song has ever been bought more in the whole history of music, which is what he posted. That would make it the 2nd biggest selling song ever.

 

The key word in his post is "now". :lol:

 

It is quite a weird thought though (not for this song in particular, for any song that gets #2 on iTunes really). Out of the millions of songs people can download, including many classics, and many other songs currently on the radio, whatever song is at #2 is more downloaded than all of them, bar one song.

It's hard to know why Nero is recovering because there's no real play listing at the moment just spot plays on evening shows - it's been played 5/6 days this week for instance on the review show tonight.

Radio 1 playlists less successful artists than Example. I think Example is having less success now mainly since dance-pop is out of fashion now. Back in 2011 when Changed the Way You Kiss Me, etc. were out, he literally had the easiest time getting a hit, since his style of music was perfect for the mainstream. That said, I haven't listened to this song, so maybe he's changed his music style, in which case, ignore what I've just said. :lol:

Yeah, I don't see what is so special with 'I Wanna Feel' it hasn't clicked with me at all yet. It took me a while to start loving 'Nobody To Love' so maybe this will happen to 'I Wanna Feel' too. I've always loved 'Jubel' though, it's just perfect for summer. It's incredible how well its doing considering it hasn't even had half of the airplay 'I Wanna Feel' has had (according to Compare My Radio) and I think this shows that 'Jubel' is the better song :kink:

If Jubel hasnt been playlisted by Capital it surely soon will next week if its heading for the top 2 with Second City - also if it hasnt got Capital plays it might mean it falls slower than Second City so could stick around longer!

Both are wonderful but Jubel just has that edge for me.

Yes I think this too! :D I wouldn't be surprised if 'Jubel' was higher in the chart on the second week than 'I Wanna Feel', it could get 2 weeks at #2 behind 'I Wanna Feel' and then 'Sing' as long as Capital do playlist it next week as they do with most songs that go top 10 on iTunes that they haven't playlisted.

'Gecko' is today's Track of the day on Radio 1, so that will be rising on pre-orders today! It's going to be huge (although I'm not too big on it myself).
