#12 Clean Bandit ft. Sharna Bass 'Extraordinary' i like the song a lot, but it just isn't a hit single really. will miss the top 10 due to a busy week

 

How is it busy if there are only two new entries in the Top 10?

I fancy Mr. Probz going back to #1 for a chart geeky thing, If Pharrell can do it twice with Happy, as I don't think any other two acts have done it within 6 months in chart history, it be a rare thing to do. It seems more acts are returning back at #1 on a quiet week, but to do it again in just under 6 months its just amazing if it happens.

 

Typical its a quiet week, as next weekend its Radio 1 One Big Weekend, the chart show is going to be a condensed to an hour or so, Radio 1 seem to know when to pick those One Big Weekends.

Usually they coincide with the few occasions I really want to hear a song I like, but that enters lower down the T40... :rolleyes:

Afrojack - Ten Feet Tall (Feat. Wrabel) #25. Looks like this could be another Top 20 hit for Afrojack. It's nothing we haven't heard before, but not that bad. Don't think I'll be buying it though.

I really don't know what artists/labels expect to gain from holding back AND releasing midweek. Hope the Kwabs song can at least go top 100 this week anyway, it's a really gorgeous song.

'Stay With Me' is a far better #1 than 'I Will Never Let You Down' for me, still one of the year's weaker #1s (as I love all of them except 5SOS, Aloe and Rita really, and even the first two of those are still decent :P) but I do quite like it and am happy to see Sam picking up another #1. I hope he doesn't go too far down the Emeli route though.

Just clicked with me that 'Dangerous Love' represents Sean Paul coming back to success after slipping into irrelevance yet again :lol: He's never going to go away for real.
