Why do people not think Ella's getting to number 1 next week? :lol:

 

She's done better on pre-orders than Ed has, has she not? (Genuine question and interest btw :lol:) Peaking top 3 after her BGT performance (Ed didn't did he? :unsure:) Plus she went top 100 and I think has stayed top 400 ever since she went up for pre-order and as soon as her playlist rotation kicked in, she's been top 200 ever since. She's winning the battle next week I think (depending on if Cheryl is going to be as big as I and others think she'll be and releases on Sunday).

Cheryl is definitely releasing on July 20th so she'll not be any competition for Ella. I think the reason a few people are doubting Ella now is the massive lead Ed has managed but I'm sure that is just due to low sales for #2 rather than high sales for Ed so Ella should be fine. :D

Well that makes all the "Really don't think Ella's going to make number 1 next week anymore" sort of comments even more baffling :lol:

 

RE.. the comment in regards to a low selling number 2, I agree. I think Ella will sell over 100k next week, Ed might JUST (101-104k) next week, but I doubt it somehow and think more in the 80k-90k region. The lead definitely won't be as big as this come Sunday. So by that time it should be easier for her to overtake!
