Random but I’ve been watching 2011 EastEnders on iPlayer and I swear ‘Yeah Yeah’ is played in the Vic all the time. I do wish it had been a single, I get ‘The Flood’ being chosen as a winter single but ‘Yeah Yeah’ in early 2011 would have been perfect and I think it could have been a decent hit. Wonder if it was considered?

Cheryl's assault conviction was discussed on Celebrity Big Brother yesterday, and she ended up trending last night - and it's been reported on in the papers. I can imagine Cheryl won't be at all pleased with this topic being in the spotlight once again!

I have always been a bit fascinated about the public reaction - or lack of reaction - to this case, at the time. I guess lack of social media in those days was helpful with that? I mean it was a huge news story in 2003, but as we know it ultimately didn't harm Cheryl's career. Whereas with today's "trial by social media" climate, I can imagine it would have been a more instantly career damaging incident.

I saw on somebody's Insta story that a track called 'Miss You' has appeared online, which was apparently meant to be the single after 'Let You'.

It doesn't sound great at all, so it's not a loss.

Her songs just got crapper and crapper and I'm not sure why! Couldn't she hire BETTER producers with more success?! Only blip was Calvin; otherwise, crapper and crapper with each song.

I thought she was decent enough solo, FFTL and Call my name in particular were excellent and she had a few other good songs too. I always slightly resented that she took a few years of what would have been Girls Aloud's golden years of big success for herself. Imagine if those three years we had got another 3 Girls Aloud albums and then they ended with 10 years like Little Mix!

Her music was not a patch on the groups overall though, and she genuinely seemed to think it was better.

I broadly agree that her solo career was the epitome of cutting corners and doing everything on the cheap, which I never understood as for a time she was arguably the biggest name in British pop.

(For what it's worth I think FFTL does also sound really cheap, but that's part of its charm)

Fight for this love was decent and was a huge hit to her name, i had years where Cheryl irritated me especially on X Factor, there was times i found her quiet cold on the show and it annoyed me that she never performed live vocally when performing singles on the show despite been a judge critiquing other peoples live voices. On the flip of that i admire how she took full advantage when on x factor as it was a massive part of her solo success and it lead to her some of her singles doing better than they would have without it.

What a terrible week for Cheryl with the passing of Liam Payne.

The statement she released was powerful

HOW is it 15 years ago!?!?

Even though I don’t live in England I was still following the charts then and I can still remember that weekend. It feels like a lifetime ago.

I remember very vividly, watching her X Factor performance feels like a few years ago to me!
