Dandy Warhols :wub: Became a big hit after being used in a TV advert for Vodafone at the time.

 

Travis went to Number 3 with 'Sing' and was the first track to be taken from their third studio album 'The Invisible Band'. Travis were well known for their comical video's and Sing was no different with them having a massive food fight in a country house. Great track and a superb album too. This was a time when Travis were bigger than Coldplay believe it or not!

 

The Supermen Lovers is one of my all time favourite dance anthems. Such a great uplifting song that always puts me in a good mood.....and yet it missed out on Number 1 to Bob The Builder's Mambo No5.

 

 

08. Daft Punk - Digital Love

Get Lucky may have overshadowed everything else they've ever done, but they shouldn't be forgotten, particularly not beauties like this, everything about this is just marvellous - the guitar riff, the soothing robot voices and that ending, just...wow :heart:

Yes! The original and the Murder Inc. remix both are fantastic despite sounding nothing alike <3

 

Kylie's a little lower than I expected. :o Believe it or not, but CGYOOMH held off Michael Jackson's big comeback single 'You Rock My World', which made the headlines. Good to see 'Digital Love' getting a high position. Just one of only two Daft Punk tracks to make a Now CD believe i or not. :o

 

I'm surprised Jennifer Lopez made it this high, but was Jennifer Lopez's first track to make a Now CD.

I dunno if it was this version or the original that was featured on the album, but it was the Rob Searle remix that was a hit at the time. Anyway, I think gooddelta might be better suited than me to talk about this, but yes a very good if slightly random winner and a dance classic.

 

The original was featured on Now 50, which was abit bizarre because as you say the Rob Searle remix was the hit. Set You Free was originally featured on Now 30. A good winner, but would of been nice to see iio get that Number 1 out of the Top 2. It still sounds great even today. :)
