Posted June 9, 201412 yr Sunday's Chart Predictions Predicting the 15/06 to 21/06 chart http://i61.tinypic.com/2qss0hc.jpg http://i58.tinypic.com/16bn0k7.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/331qdew.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/2hwenwo.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/2rokcpe.jpg No need for Ella to pray at the river for a #1 Despite coming 6th on the 2012 series of The X Factor, 18 year old Ella Henderson is looking to make a big debut at #1 this week with first single 'Ghost'. Also set to enter the Top 10 is Dutch DJ Tiesto's follow-up to 'Red Lights', 'Wasted' (featuring Matthew Koma as vocalist - yes, it's actually a male vocal!!) and Little Mix' 'Salute' which should climb a huge amount thanks to their performance on the Britain's Got Talent final with Diversity. Further down the chart may see a new entry from Kylie Minogue whose charity single 'Crystallize' was released at midnight today. It's another busy week in the album chart and it looks likely their will be an all new Top 3. The biggest contender for #1 is Kasabian with their fifth studio album 48:13 (the running time of the album although it probably took 00:01 to come up with the name!), whilst Jack White's second solo album Lazaretto and Passenger's Whispers may take second and third. Elsewhere in the Top 10, expect new entries from Dolly Parton's studio album combined with greatest hits Blue Smoke/The Best Of and First Aid Kit's Stay Gold, and perhaps a climb into the Top 10 from Vera Lynn's National Treasure album. ======================================================= Please note new changes to the Sunday Chart Predictions thread topic: Tuesday/Thursday - There will be no mids from MW for Tuesday and Thursday, however they may come from other sources - this is not always guaranteed. June 9, 201412 yr Author Summary up - I do like my little Kasabian dig ha ha. Quite a bare singles chart! Seems the hype for Ella going to #1 made me overlook that before. Fingers crossed Kylie can make the Top 40!
June 9, 201412 yr Love the second paragraph  seems its a quiet week in the singles, I just wonder if Pitbull will trouble the top 40 chart at the end of the week with the FIFA World Cup theme
June 9, 201412 yr Keep buying Crystallize everyone... up to number 30 on UK ITunes..... its done really well across the world to be honest with no radio play etc.. Will probably drop a lot in the next few days as no radio play to sustain it and only one version to buy... :(
June 9, 201412 yr I'm hoping Kasabian can manage about 50k for Number 1 in the album chart this week.
June 9, 201412 yr Ella to get the first credible X Factor number one since Promise This! Not that Promise This was an X Factor #1...
June 9, 201412 yr Not that Promise This was an X Factor #1... Basically was as she was a judge and was one of the most famous songs to come from the show.
June 9, 201412 yr Basically was as she was a judge and was one of the most famous songs to come from the show. errr... Bleeding Love was the best track to come from the show
June 10, 201412 yr Yeah but Promise This came after, so it's the most recent credible X FAccy song. Am I missing something? In what sense is Promise This, or indeed any other Cheryl song, credible?! If we're talking "credible" #1s from X Factor stars, the only one, really, has been Diana Vickers.
June 10, 201412 yr Well this week's thread has gone off topic rather quickly That's got to be a record even for Buzzjack! If only people would ignore these posts that aren't worth a response!! Anyway, Ella for number one with sales of over 110k maybe more. Tiesto will get a new peak this week, would love to see Wasted go top 3 even if it is very generic! Kasabian should get another number one album, I can see the top 3 all being new entries by Sunday
June 10, 201412 yr I wonder if Little Mix can manage the top 5. I'm predicting a fall soon, maybe they could manage 6/7 though.
June 10, 201412 yr Ella to get the first credible X Factor number one since Promise This! What's the story behins your bizarre and frequent misuse of the word "credible"? Is any song that gets to number one because people liked it enough to buy it not the beneficiary of "credible" success? Wirklich. Erklären Sie.
