Congratulations to Chelsea thoroughly deserving winners this year. Very similar to United's last title, never in doubt from an early stage.

Congratulations to Chelsea.

We have been treated to some real cracking title challenges over the past couple of years. This year it certainly wasn't one. Hoping the rest of the top teams can put up a longer, sustainable fight next season.

Although we look to have an enthralling relegation battle at least this year & possibly top 4.

In 2012-13 literally everything was decided with several weeks to go, would have been one of the worst recent seasons for the neutral.

Excellent result yesterday, winning at Old Trafford two years in a row is quite something! The revival under Pulis has slipped under the radar somewhat, but very effective.

Cannot get over the Cup mauling West Ham received at your expense though

Must admit that wasn't a memorable season really. Man United were nothing special, but all the other big teams were a mess. At the other end, Reading were poor, QPR absolutely shite and Wigan inevitably succumbed to the drop.

Almost every other team performed exactly as expected, with West Brom and Swansea notable exceptions and Newcastle's slip from 5th to 16th mirrored Everton for much of this season.

This was my first season being a West Ham season ticket holder in the Premier League and the word to describe our season was 'gritty'. Come to think of it, this probably was the worst Premier League season of recent years.

Yeah 2012-13 was really anti-climactic, it was only the fight for 4th place that went to the last day but everyone knew that Arsenal would get it despite Gareth Bale's player of the season performances for Tottenham. As a Man Utd fan all that really mattered though was finishing top of the league that season.

2011-12 was the most exciting end to a season that I've seen. The title race, relegation, 4th place all went to the last match of the season. It had a terrible end of Man Utd of course and a very unfortunate one for Tottenham also.

For this season I think Burnley & QPR will already be relegated by the time we get to the final match so the focus will be mainly on Leicester, Hull & Sunderland. I hope Man U get at least 4th place before the last game of the season for the sake of my nerves

Congratulations to Chelsea on their league title.

Hopefully it will be a longer race to the title next season between Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd (providing they get the players they want)

I think it will be a close game between Hull and Arsenal tonight. I'll say a 2-1 win to Arsenal.

Again wrong about how the match between Hull City and Arsenal turned out wasn't I?

In other news-

Derby's Steve McClaren has turned down the chance to become Newcastle United manager for the last three matches of the season. John Carver stays as Newcastle manager. McClaren stays as Derby Country manager after missing out on a play-off spot.

Jose Mourinho looking close to signing a new deal with Chelsea following winning the Premier League with them which it could be until 2019.

Aston Villa at the subject of a £150m takeover bid by a group of investors with possibly ex-Arsenal player Tony Adams being brought in to work on football matters. We'll wait and see what happens there.

Shouldn't be surprised really, they do it year after year. New Wigan.

As much as I'd prefer them to go down of the 5, I'm all for an enthralling fight that goes right to the last day (2010-2011 was the best season ever in that department) & this win plus another next time (I'm pretty certain they'll beat Leicester at home) might mean they can afford to lose their last 2 games & still stay up.

They're already above Newcastle & where's their next point coming from?

Bye bye Burnley out of the Premier League even after beating Hull City.

Newcastle's next point came against West Brom this afternoon.

Again another good win for Leicester City which boosts their chances of survival. Following Aston Villa's victory against West Ham, I would say that they are safe from relegation although it could still all change.

QPR needing the biggest miracle in Premier League history to survive. Which looks very doubtful.

If we manage to survive this then I'll post a naked pic in the gallery.

You've been warned!!!!

This is quite funny to watch, QPR simply useless

Aguero pretty much guarantees the Golden Boot now.
