If we win then Newcastle have to win as a point won't be good enough for them. Of course we won't win but I can dream.

I'm in two minds.

I want Hull to survive because I like their team and I think they will continue to progress. They have a team that should be battling for top 10 but just need to get some areas sorted. Manchester United have nothing to play for next week so I can see them fielding a couple of youngsters.

I was born a Newcastle United fan but I think them being relegated could help them get out of their ongoing mess. Pardew must be laughing at how much influence he's had this season. I'm guessing Newcastle would be top 10 had they not almost forced him out.

I just wish Sunderland got relegated but it seems as if they are safe!

Man U have lost meaningless (for them) final day games before.

P.s Happy final anfield appearance for Steven Gerrard

:D

Gutted for Gerrard, but he was truly shite today (as was half the team). I love him to pieces, and I genuinely do think he is the best midfielder to have ever played in the Premier League, but today showed his decline playing at the top level.

The occasion got to everyone. Fair play to Palace, their front players had their good game today. Onwards and upwards!

But not since 2006-07 season (vs West Ham).

Tevez winner to keep us up!! What a day that was.

Glad I gave the game a swerve today, didn't need another late Everton winner against us ruining my birthday.

In the 2008-09 season Man Utd defeated Hull 1-0 in the last match of the season away from home so 6 years on I believe history will repeat it's self next Sunday and Hull City fans will have to get used to waiting until the early hours to watch highlights of their matches on BBC One.

Football League highlights will be on C5 next season, starting at 9pm.

Really? I wonder who will present that? I remember when Italian Football was shown briefly on that channel, I can't imagine higher ratings being achieved for this.

Probably beat the ratings for the graveyard midnight slot on the BBC. Brave choice of time to show it though, right in the middle of Saturday night telly.

Not hugely fond of the way Hull have gone about the last 18 months but the opportunity to send Newcastle down would be too good to miss - particularly for Allardyce.
Loved watching the season pan out this year, not liking Hull's chances of staying up. Distractions off the pitch (name change to Hull Tigers rumbling in the background, as well as the current Livermore situation) and the injuries (Snodgrass springs to mind as he used to be at Norwich).

Did anyone see QPR's pitch invasion at the end of the Newcastle match. Bizarre there.

Currently 3-2 to Man City against Swansea although Man City were 2-0 up and Swansea got it back to level.

Seems Sterling's ego is about as big as the amount of money he turned down to stay at Anfield.

This whole thing is ridiculous. I don't care if he leaves anymore, he's been absolutely shocking this year, goes missing in big games. He will become a top player, but it's obvious he doesn't want to play for Liverpool and it's affected his form. The same happened in 2013 with the whole contract who-ha. It's a silly game of cat and mouse, been played out in the press. Thing is he goes to any other big club, and he plays as bad as he has done for us at times this year and he's out of he team.

GET HIM OUT NOW!!

Ibe is a much better player - stronger and a better strike on him. Take 20-25m for sterling and buy a goal scorer.

QPR has appointed Chris Ramsey as their head coach on a three-year contact following being relegated to the Championship.

All three crunch ties in the Premier League relegation battle are live on Sunday.

Hull v Man U - Sky Sports 1/HD @ 2.00pm

Newcastle v West Ham - Sky Sports 3/HD @ 2.00pm

Chelsea v Sunderland - Sky 1/HD @ 2.55pm

Hull

Have to win and hope either Sunderland lose both their games or Newcastle fail to beat West Ham

Newcastle

A point will be enough if Hull win and Sunderland lose their last two games with a -5 or worse goal difference.

Sunderland

A point against either Arsenal or Chelsea will be enough to avoid the drop.

I'm secretly hoping we win, Newcastle draw and Sunderland lose both their games to make it a 3-way tie and the relegation down to goal difference! :kink:
