Used to LOVE The Saturdays but they have been churning out the same generic songs for far too long now and this is no different and offers nothing new to their tired, tried and tested formula which has been giving them diminishing returns. Hopefully this will be a #13 chart smash with a chart run of 13-56-78. How on earth they still have a record deal in 2014 is beyond me too with the fading success they have been having
I think low top 10, its not their best and not their worst but it doesnt have the stand out feel to it. I do sometimes wonder have the girls made much money out of the group as they never managed that huge huge era. Steps, S Club 7 etc were far bigger acts and sold far more and did not make huge amounts of money so i cant see the girls been overly well off financially from been part of the group.
I think they really enjoy what they do though. I mean a job is a job and it's fantastic if you enjoy it. Most of the money comes from endorsements anyway.

I'm predicting #5. Although I think it could be anywhere between #3-#8. Would love it to be #1 though
It will probably just scrape the Top 10. It's catchy enough but it's so generic, especially the lyrics - 'Let's party / Everybody / move their body / let's get naughty' - seriously, where's the originality? And then there's the chorus, which is the same phrase repeated four times, with every syllable sung in the same note  don't get me wrong, I've loved some of their past singles ('Ego' being my absolute fave) but this is just throwaway.
Number 8. I think they will chart a bit lower if songs released from previous weeks maintain their streaming numbers. I don't know if The Sats are huge on streaming really.

This poll was created way too prematurely. You can't give any kind of accurate estimate until after seeing how the pre-order is holding up nearer the time and how much (if) it's played on the radio. There are still almost 6 weeks until release.

I think it's interesting how six years into their career The Saturdays still have people predicting them to get a #1 and top ten singles.

They might not have had a HUGE era but they've stuck around much longer than many of their peers ('Issues' was out just as JLS were runners-up on X-Factor and now JLS have split, 'Missing You' was out after The Wanted's debut single and now The Wanted have split, Girls Aloud have returned and split during The Sats time, we've had so many girl bands come and go and yet The Saturdays are still releasing and this is looking like it might be one of their biggest hits yet )

Any predictions now we're a bit closer to release? I'm thinking this will be their lowest peaker now. :( Awful pre-orders, no radio support whatsoever, no hype, there's nothing going for this at all. :(

I'm predicting #26.

I got 'Louder' correct that it would peak at #14 despite its strong pre-orders and #06 on Tuesday midweeks *.*.

this is looking like it might be one of their biggest hits yet

This is why The Saturdays' forum is always so miserable. "I like this song" instantly becomes "OH MY GOD IT'S GONNA BE #1" when nothing backs that up, and then when things actually happen realistically people start tearing their hair out.

Lee's prediction of #26 doesn't look half bad to me, if it weren't for 'Not Giving Up' being lucky enough to hit #19 I'd predict this to miss the top 40.

Mid 20's seems accurate, maybe a little higher as they have more stans than Pixie Lott who will ensure it doesn't completely tank. I reckon it would have been #15-ish on sales so maybe #22-24 overall?
Yeh, anywhere in the lower half of the Top 40 especially now streaming is factored in. I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in the 30s region.

I used to think that they had more stans than Pixie but Pixie has always sold better than them by a fair margin in both singles and albums and always seems to get a lot more votes in MTV Hottest etc. It's such a shame that Lay Me Down is going to miss the top 40.

I'm gonna be really pessimistic and say #32. I really get a bad feeling, especially when you factor in streaming :( Such a good song though, should be #1.
