Hopefully! I've read rumours of a UK release of September 29th (which would fit in with the October album release) but we'll see.

Apparently this may be getting its UK radio premiere tomorrow! :cheer: The UK release date is September 29th according to Capital's upcoming releases page.

Wow, very exciting! :o I think this will be either AMAZING or just a complete massive disappointment. Hopefully it will be the former, judging by the clips it sounds like it should be! :D.

Would rather it be released on 3rd of August then it can at least get a full weeks sales

It should be released OA/OS as those who buy Ariana Grande's album (which should be considerably more than the amount who purchased Yours Truly) will already own it before it comes out (me being one of them).

Wait September? for some reason I read it as July. That's ages away!!

I think it is going to be OA/OS in m opinion, why give the song to Ariana to use on her deluxe album if they are going to release it in september? makes no sense as Ariana's album drops August 25th!

Also to those questioning why it's released in September despite being available on Ariana's album... maybe Ariana's label will use it as a promotional tool to get people to invest in her album. It'll without a DOUBT be "Album Only" if it's released on 29th September. I can see it being available in like 3 weeks or so though ("due to popular demand" etc..)

 

I can see this heading straight to number 1 on iTunes in America and sticking top 10 enough for it to debut top 20 on the BBH100 next week. What's Jessie's highest position on the Hot 100? Was it with 'Domino'?

^Yep I believe Domino is her highest peaker at #6, then Price Tag at #23.

Gosh, Ariana's snippet is awful. her voice is so screechy and she is clearly trying to outsing Jess.

I actually think Ariana's a ittle restrained in that snippet.... and Jessie is definitely the one who's trying to "out sing" her peers, imo. Not that that's a bad thing, if it goes well with the song.
