I'm not even sure about Rixton going to #1, it's only #80 on pre-orders so will or Ariana could get another week. Either way the #1 will have very low sales

Nicole was on Loose Women, and performed, which would explain her climb into the top 100. Pretty average song though, yes.

i'm guessing since the album version is 6.39, they probably figured a 3-4 min long Radio Edit would be a good enough incentive for people to pre-order :lol: it does seem quite weird, especially so long after the song's initial release

 

Why have they waited so long (almost a full year) between the album release and pushing another single, especially when that single is just a re-release of a track that itself predates the album by around a year? :drama:

 

On a tangentially related note they seem to have decided Ali Love is actually a member of the group at some point between the song's original release and now.

I've seen comments like this a lot over the past few weeks about Nicole's single. But surely the same can be said for any song?

If it goes this high on pre-orders with minimal airplay, it is safe to say that its impact would be many times bigger had the airplay kicked in completely.

 

Not every song appeals to a lot of people. If you can get a lot of people in a small group to buy youe song, that means you can get many more people to buy your song in a much bigger group (usually)

 

A song like Louder, which has R1 airplay, obviously isn't as appealing as Your Love is
