Surprised there's no thread on this song yet, I've loved it since the first listen a few weeks ago and it's just started blowing up in Australia, looks like it will be No.1 there next week.

It's by Benji and Joel, the twins from Good Charlotte, but I've put it in the pop forum because it's definitely not their traiditonal pop punk sound, it's a summery 60s Californian pop sound, a la Beach Boys. It has a great bridge and chorus and very chilled verses, I could definitely see this being a big hit for them here if it's pushed, and it would be nice if that was before the end of summer! The album is scheduled for release in Australia on 12th September and hopefully will follow here soon after.

Woah, very impressed by that. I'm a semi fan of Good Charlotte's work anyway but this definitely sounds pleasant on first listen Quite a big change from what the Maddens do normally.

I'd read that they were coming back but heard this unexpectedly on the radio and was blown away! Very 'Pumped Up Kicks'-esque.

Australia never stopped embracing Good Charlotte and it's great to see that hasn't changed. Hopefully they share some more songs soon, I'd rather not wait til September!

Cant say I like it on first listen, besides the guitar lick.

Generally a bit sad rock bands (like Paramore) are moving away from rock and towards more currently commercial areas... although to be fair this song is 'different'.

The Madden Brothers have announced that "We Are Done" will be getting an official UK release date which is slotted down for August 31st. The pre order is out now on iTunes.

Hopefully this might have a small chance of being a hit here but we'll have to wait and see. "Fingers crossed"
