Well, to be honest I'm not pointing out your predictions (I'm terrible at predicting too), I'm pointing out the derogatory tone you both used last night.

Then again, I'm not saying Cheryl will be number 1, but there was no need to single us out for saying the battle would be close.

What "derogatory" tone was that? all I said was that it was a forgone formality that MAGIC! would be number one this week. I'm not even that much of a fan of Rude but I still reckon that they will be number one this week. And i didn't single you out, in fact I didn't even mention your name at all in my post. Even if at the end of the week I'm proved wrong so what it is just a prediction about a music chart.

Some of you fans behave as if you will gain something personally from Cheryl being number one. The dough is going straight into Cheryl's pocket not yours at the end of the day. So is it so important who is number one?

Could get a boost tonight due to being the official theme song of WWE Battleground which is taking place right now.

I do hope Sirens can hold up. It's a shame such monstrosity like SJ could get to #1 yet this seems to be struggling in the lower end of the top 40 :(

Well, the Now! 88 effect isn't going to happen because the entire album is album-only this time for some reason

Yeah I noticed that also. I'm guessing the Now! 88 will have a streaming effect though so it could help MK manage top 10 overall. I'm hoping Now! allows Nicole to climb back top 10 on iTunes - even if she doesn't manage it officially.

I'm expecting Magic! to be on at least 80% tonight and should overtake Cheryl late Tuesday which I think will be too late. It all depends on streaming though and I'm sure Tuesdays midweeks will provide enough answers on if Magic! have a chance of being #01.

I don't think Cheryl's gonna decrease particularly quickly at all - it's not a frontloaded boyband release, it's a track that's getting lots of airplay on both radio and TV as well (top 20 on the former and top 10 on the latter) so it's likely gonna hold up much better than them. MAGIC! have still been making *very* slow progress - I already think they need to be making faster progress if they'll get the #1. Take Stay the Night for example - it never even made #1 on iTunes yet wasn't overtaken in the chart until after the Friday mids. Sure, it's not 100% guaranteed but with a bigger lead than most of us expected, plus the relatively slow progress for MAGIC! thus far, it does seem quite likely right now that Cheryl will keep #1 at this rate.

You're missing the point completely but then again I'm not surprised. If you paid attention to my posts last week instead of making bold statements, you would have seen that I thought too MAGIC! would somehow win that race up until the very last day of pre-orders when Cheryl started gaining on MAGIC!. So it's not even about her being number 1 (although yes it would make me happy), it's just that you weren't even open to discussion and you had nothing else to say than "Yes, it is conclusive" as if it was some undebatable truth.

No hard feelings of course but next time try to listen a bit more to what other people have to say in this thread, sometimes it's interesting ! :P

I'm thinking and hoping Charli XCX might manage to make top 3 on iTunes later today. I'm expecting 5/6 officially though.

New update in and MAGIC! are losing (tiny) ground :

Crazy Stupid Love's remixes are #361, #563 and #705, and the EP is #94 on the album chart. Not really significant but every little helps. :)

04. Charli XCX - Boom Clap

07. Neon Jungle - Louder

11. MK feat. Alana - Always (Route 94 Radio Edit)

Poor Cher Lloyd, by FAR her best single yet and struggling to go top 30..

Glad Neon Jungle are top 10 though hope they hold up throughout the week.

True. :(

The Natasha Bedingfield curse, cracking the US and never being able to come back to the UK as a relevant popstar. :(

Although Cher never achieved what Tasha did of course.
