how the f*ck is Bakermat doing so well? does anyone actually know? I looked on Compare My Radio and the only place it's getting significant airplay is Capital Xtra, which I don't think has much of an effect on the charts.

First time I've been here this week, but I am kind of sad about Pixie Lott and Leah McFall. :( I was hoping they'd both go top 40 but knew they wouldn't.

 

Pixie for once has released a genuinely good song without any gimmick, which makes it more of a shame.

but seriously that can't be why it's selling so much on iTunes. I don't even get spotify ads now that I'm on premium so I wouldn't know about it. I didn't realise they did song adverts now, the last time I had adverts on it was either for an Alan Partridge book or cidre. :lol: That was a long time ago though (nearly 2 years)

The ones I get are the prayer in C playlist one [i think the same one with right here on], that annoying E-book one and that Daniella Commenwealth Games one

I get tons of random adverts from punk bands and motor oil ads :lol: I like the E-book one though, I haven't seen it around much lately though.

I've actually had adverts for the Bakermat song appear on Buzzjack itself in the banner at the top of the screen, and a similar kind of thing on other websites. :lol: Also on Youtube I get an advert sometimes for it. I honestly think it's because I listened to the song on Youtube a few times a while ago and now the Internet is putting adverts everywhere telling me to buy the song, so anyone else who listened to the song in the past is probably getting the same thing.

 

I've heard the song on the radio a few times too, but not on a big station (I think it's Rinse FM where they play it).
