Two new semi-hit singles called 'Home' this week. Such uninspired naming. I heard Leah's song in a live version the other day, her vocals sounded pretty terrible as per but I'll reserve judgement on the song as they may be better on record of course. Not heard Naughty Boy's song at all yet, seems he's had a bit of a fall from grace already - I still blame 'Lifted'. Career killing song.

 

Nice to see a fairly long list of new releases this week, feels like the busiest week in a while (although I suppose there were a decent number last week as well with 6 top 20 new entries likely today).

 

'Kisses For Breakfast' being a hit seems odd, I actually quite like it but surely one of the tackiest top 10 hits of recent times :lol: Vic Mensa needs to climb faster :(

'Lifted' wasn't that bad! It went top 10 and he's had good radio support this time round. For some reason the punters aren't liking it though. It's his best single so far IMO.

I think this shows Naughty Boy isn't as huge a producer as we may have been led to expect with the success of La La La.

 

La La La is genuinely one of my favourite songs EVER, and I really love 'Home' too - but besides those two, his songs aren't really all that. 'Wonder' and 'Lifted' suffice, but other than that, he's not that great really is he. He licked Emeli Sande's arse too much before his album came out, and when his album did actually come out, it turned out to be really crap.
