Biography

The Vamps are a British pop band formed in 2012. The band consists of Bradley William Simpson from Birmingham (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), James Daniel McVey from Bournemouth (vocals and guitar), Connor Samuel John Ball from Aberdeen (vocals and bass guitar), and Tristan Oliver Vance Evans from Exeter, (vocals and drums). They signed to Mercury Records in late 2012. The band started to grow a fan base by supporting pop punk band McFly in early 2013 on their Memory Lane Tour. They have also been performing at several festival style events around the UK as supporting acts for several different acts including The Wanted, JLS and Little Mix, Lawson . The Vamps released their debut EP on 29 September 2013. They will also be releasing a full album in 2014. Vamps are holding up quite well, I do like this song!

I hate the way R1 snubs Demi, since she is featured on the song, she should get a mention. I am just glad they play the version with her in it :lol:

I actually really like the verses in 'Somebody to You' and the chorus is okay (bar the questionable 'Everybody wants to be a billionaire, but every time I look at you I just don't care) but the 'yeah youuu' bits annoy me. :(

Really love somebody to you. Deserved to be the vamps highest peaking song and have great legs. Love it and Demi is superb as usual

It is the OCC that are snubbing Demi for some reason. At least R1 play the Demi version on the chart show.

I am glad it got to #1 in Scotland :D

British singer and songwriter Jamie N Commons combines a Tom Waits-like raspy street-corner voice with a dark and haunted vision of the world à la Nick Cave, and at his best, he delivers a kind of modern gothic, 21st century version of the blues. Born in Bristol, England, Commons was relocated to Chicago with his family at the age of six, and for the next eight years he was immersed in the city where the Chicago blues was born, and the music became his lifelong passion. He returned to England's West Country six years later at the age of 16, taking with him a clear sense of the blues and its role in the mythic allure of the American South, not to mention an Americanized accent. Commons learned how to play the guitar and then moved to London to study music at Goldsmiths in New Cross, emerging in his twenties with a hoarse, gravel-laced voice that belied his years and a dark, Southern swamp gospel vision of songwriting. I thought Jungle was going to be a top 3 contender, it's been on Radio 1s A-list for a lot longer than normal songs have..

'Jungle' sounds like a really cheaply produced song (bar the Jay-Z part of course). Not too bad though and cool to see Jamie N Commons finally picking up a hit.

I thought Jungle would've done better than #18. Glad that it made top 20 though, it's quite good. Jay-Z's done so much better than his verse on this though

This X Ambassador single is rubbish. Rather rubbish.

I like Jay-Z but this is kinda shit.

First listen of 'Jungle', really quite like the production and chorus! The world cup bit sounds so odd now, though. :lol:
