It'd have made more sense for someone like Ella to pick for Lauren - young female solo X-Factor alumni as opposed to a group who won three years ago and are having a few months away from the public eye writing & recording? It just strikes me a bit desperate to remind everyone they're still a group :lol:

How is 1D picking for Ben or Emeli Sande for Fleur any less mismatched? If anything, Little Mix makes a hell of a lot more sense than most of them (bar Sam Smith for Andrea) - at least they're likely to share largely the same fanbase.

Did you see that on DS forums? They're being ridiculous :drama: They seem to think she's going to mime tonight! I think it makes sense to mime in rehearsal, if there's doubt over whether she can perform then she should rest her voice until it's really needed and just ensure she's ok with the rest of the performance. I guess she'll have to just wing the vocals.

Fleur and Emeli Sandé isn't too bad, for example Fleur would be ok with Next To Me or one of her lesser known songs like Free or Daddy maybe. But it would definitely seem more approriate for Fleur to have Little Mix and sing Salute <3 I don't think they should be the final duet partners though.

That would be incredible, my two favourite X Factor acts ever performing together. :wub: Plus, it'd be cool in the sense that they've had similar narratives so far; both went from favourites to go pre-lives (well Fleur was one of them anyway and Little Mix were definitely heading that market) to leading the odds in week 8.

Knowing X Factor, it will be Fleur with Ariana, Jessie or Nicki to perform Bang Bang for a third time! :lol:

I don't agree either with 1D picking for Ben, I just left that out of my post as I was suggesting a better alternative for Lauren as didn't have one for Ben...

As long as Ariana gets a slot, I'll be ok with Fleur performing 'Bang Bang' for a third time! *.* But I kind of want that Fleur/Little Mix 'Salute' performance to happen. That would be a proper MOMENT.

I can so see Fleur singing Bang bang as her favourite performance anyway :lol: That or I'm Every Woman I imagine, those two weeks are where it turned around for her. Her and Ariana could do Problem maybe.

During her chat with Emeli in her first VT this week when she mentioned artists that she could possibly cover, I was really hoping she'd choose this so I'd love to see her perform it this week instead! :D
