September 27, 201410 yr Author Mr Brightside aside (lol), is there any other male vocal songs still to come? :o Buzzjack's notorious love for females seems to be showing a lot more this year than others. Ah, that stat. No male vocalled songs (although Kleerup and Calvin Harris are giving it SOME named male representation - albeit just on production) in the top 10 aside from The Killers. Other than Mr Brightside though, the highest song with any male vocals is Jay-Z's rap in Umbrella and for the second-highest fully male vocalled song you have to go down to Feel Good Inc. There did seem to be more pop voters than usual this year, might go some way towards explaining it.
September 27, 201410 yr Not sure why, but i'm constantly surprised at Mr Brightside making the top 10 in this every year. Great to see though <3Â
September 28, 201410 yr I hate mr brightside. Hopefully it's 9th. I've worked out 6 of the 9 songs and hopefully the 2 Britney ones are top 2 Edited September 28, 201410 yr by Ultraviolence1989
September 28, 201410 yr Mr. Brightside to win plz. Absolute gem and one of the best songs of all time.

September 28, 201410 yr Apart from Mr Brightside and Every Heartbeat I don't think I'm going to like any of the songs left haha. Can't believe the trash that is Gimme More is anywhere near the top 50 let alone 10.
September 28, 201410 yr TJAfLE39ZZ8Â 9 9 2007 Amy Winehouse - Back To Black 420 (23 - 118 - 82 - 4 - 3- 9 - 9)Â By FAR my favourite song in the top 10, this beautiful track by the troubled songstress Amy Winehouse (R.I.P.) takes a rightful place in the Record of the Decade top 10 for a fourth year in a row, holding at #9. Prior to her death the song only reached as high as 23rd here, but it's kind of understandable why it is so much better loved since she left us - I always loved the song but it only REALLY solidified itself as one of my all time favourites when I heard it in the light of the sad news in 2011. I may have cried a bit. Especially with that video.
September 28, 201410 yr Back To Back is such a classic, so underrated where I live. My personal favorite single by her.
September 28, 201410 yr Author 7_weSk0BonMÂ 8 21 2007 Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love 432 (21 - 1 - 4 - 108 - 61 - 21 - 8)Â So we come to a former winner as Leona re-enters the top 10 at 8th place. Out of the 4 former winners still in the game it's probably had the most volatile chart run, dipping outside the top 100 merely 2 years after winning but regaining relevance in more recent years, could be that be a delayed overplay factor or am I reading too much into it? Maybe it's just because Leona is semi-successful again because of One More Sleep. Or maybe more fans of Bleeding Love have just showed up. Phenomenally dominant a hit in 2007, Bleeding Love seems to have resonated with Buzzjack enough to keep its classic status. I quite like the song myself so this isn't a bad rise by any means.
September 30, 201410 yr -ojHWQrm4UMÂ 7 2 2007 Robyn and Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat 494 (33 - 125 - 7 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 7)Â Mildly surprising moment, after three straight years in the top two (including a win) Robyn's biggest song falls five places to #7 this year. As with 'Dancing On My Own' this is a fairly good song but muchly overrated by the BuzzCommunity in my humble opinion. The drop does give it a 5 year symmetry but I think it's pretty much an impossibility for that to extend to 7 year symmetry as that would require a drop to #125 next year. Which of course raises the question, what the hell happened in 2010 that caused this to suddenly be one of the site's favourites when it initially looked like being one of those songs that does well in its first year while the memory's fresh, then vanishes quickly? Very strange.
September 30, 201410 yr Bleeding love really is one of the best songs ever- it's just stunning  Even though its a bit overrated on buzzjack, with every heartbeat is an absolutely amazing song
September 30, 201410 yr "With Every Heartbeat" is a pretty stunning track, I think that position is about correct.

September 30, 201410 yr I would guess "Dancing On My Own" is what happened. One overrated track propelling another overrated track to even higher levels of overratedness. Magic. You're probably right but even so a 125-7 jump is pretty crazy (and then it only did even better over the next 3 years).
