August 17, 201412 yr What a stellar top 3 this week! Loved MAGIC! since day one and 'Am I Wrong' has turned out to be a super grower. Yay!
August 17, 201412 yr I imagine that given the standards for most exceedingly young chart stars (could call George an exception but not sure he's ever been the youngest on the chart), it's statistically likely that the first artist younger than you to get a hit will be awful :P I think mine would have been Little Jimmy Osmond. It doesn't get much worse than that
August 17, 201412 yr Surprise! R1 haven't updated the albums. The Sats' album is confirmed #10 by the OCC though, lucky scrape for them! It's no wonder album sales are so low, when R1 barely acknowledge to format exists.
August 17, 201412 yr It's no wonder album sales are so low, when R1 barely acknowledge to format exists. Am I reading this wrong or are you suggesting album sales are low because of Radio 1 being slow to update the album chart on their website?
August 17, 201412 yr Am I reading this wrong or are you suggesting album sales are low because of Radio 1 being slow to update the album chart on their website? lol
August 17, 201412 yr Only the second song since April to spend two consecutive weeks at #1. It was hard work, but I'll be dropping my second smash hit OA/OS in September which will be coming for 4+ weeks at #1.

Sinéad O'Connor picking up her highest charting album since 1994. Bit random there, I guess it's mostly down to low sales - congrats to her though. Very surprised there's still enough interest in Loveable Rogues for their album to make the top 40!
August 17, 201412 yr Looking at the sats discography it is quite impressive that almost everything there is top 10.
August 17, 201412 yr It was hard work, but I'll be dropping my second smash hit OA/OS in September which will be coming for 4+ weeks at #1.
August 17, 201412 yr Yes, The Saturdays have really managed to get a very impressive looking set of songs for a greatest hits - just a shame that that is literally all of their singles, so marketing is as a 'greatest hits' (especially one with 'selection' in the title) is rather dishonest
August 17, 201412 yr Missed the top 40? Kingsland Road Dirty Dancer Not just "missed the top 40", missed the Top 75!
August 17, 201412 yr Not just "missed the top 40", missed the Top 75! Still top 100 though which is more than several other songs to have been picked for this section :P
