Welcome to round 13 of Least Fave Gaga singles and now we finally say goodbye to a Fame Monster era single "Telephone" which is the first of that era to drop, but considering all 3 singles made the top 5 is quite an achievement. After scoring a whooping 17 votes, the joint highest and matching last weeks "TEOG". "Pokerface" wasn't far behind with 14 votes, then "Alejandro" with 13, "Paparazzi" scored 6 and "Bad Romance" finally gets 1, after 3 consective weeks of no votes.

Released in Januray 2010 and taken as the 2nd single from her "Fame Monster" album, and featuring Beyonce and the music video is a sequel to her 2009 hit "Paparazzi". The song was originally meant for Britney Spears's album "Circus" but she rejected and so Gaga took it for herself and marks the 2nd time they both collaborated on a single following "Video Phone" which featured on Beyonce's 3rd album "I Am Sasha Fierce" in 2008. But "Telephone" became a much bigger success for both artists worldwide by topping the charts in Belgium, Danish, Ireland, Norway, South Korea and UK (Gaga's final chart topper to date). As well as hitting top 3 in Italy, Sweden, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, New Zealand and USA.

Um, Britney didn't like the song after she recorded the demo. And the demo was recorded before Gaga had even released 'Pokerface'. So at this point Darkchild was pushing for Britney to record it for her singles collection release. They preferred '3' and scrapped the project completely. Also, let's not forget Gaga did multiple writing sessions for Britney in 2008/2009.

 

AFTERWARDS. Gaga wanted it back, and wanted Britney to be the feature on it. She couldn't commit to an extended video shoot so they went for Beyonce. Stop trying to start stan wars. Both artists love each other as do the majority of each fanbase. So... calm your tits.

Just flush Poker Face because it hasn't aged well at all (and wasn't very good to begin with). I'll hate all of you if Alejandro gets the boot. :(
