September 30, 201411 yr Ouch for Professor Green his album at #40 :o some big casualties in the album chart Alt-J down to #11, Aphex Twin #23, Joe Bonamassa #27. Weds update should even the chart out a bit, with all those high album entries. Is Cheek To Cheek holding up well?
September 30, 201411 yr The good news Happy is out of the 40 :cheer: now for the bad news :nocheer: , it could climb back in tomorrow, as it just edged out.
September 30, 201411 yr Big sales for Meghan Trainor, however nothing like the 77K that Clean Bandit managed by this point in their huge first week at #1. They actually managed a multiple of 2.1+ to give 162,801 sales by the end of the of week. I'd predict a tentative 115-120K for Meghan but would need tomorrows figures to be sure, as Jessie J dropped off (like a stone) dramatically after the first day last week.

I really expected around 80k for Meghan on the Tues update, which would have been achievable if it wasn't for those fakes. last week.
September 30, 201411 yr Meghan about 10K more that Jessie last week - although i doubt she will fall away quite as fast with streaming sales steady throughout - she should do 120k!
September 30, 201411 yr Interesting album chart this week, some big changes. Meghan Trainor opening with great sales, i would hope for a minimum of 130,000 for the full week.
September 30, 201411 yr Alt-J will probably get a boost from their live lounge performance so I reckon they will stay top 10, maybe 8/9. Good to see The Magician at 3! Though it will probably fall to 7/8 by Sunday but top 3 start is encouraging! All 5 new entries inside the top 15 is great so hopefully they can all hold on which will help shake the chart up but I won't hold my breath!
September 30, 201411 yr Oh dear at the drop for alt-J, I wasn't expecting them to hold up spectacularly but I was hoping a second week top 10 would be achievable at least... probably still is as I imagine it'll overtake Gerard Way but still worrying. Jamie T could hold onto #1 (he has some promo this week doesn't he?) but that lead isn't fantastic, so George Ezra could finally top the chart as well. V unpredictable ~
September 30, 201411 yr where have alt-j and the script fallen to? Script #9 Alt-J 2 places lower than the Script, or see previous page. Jamie T could hold onto #1 (he has some promo this week doesn't he?) but that lead isn't fantastic, Yes... Jools Holland Tues/Fri, along with Gorgon City, Damien Rice, Ali Campbell, Future Sounds and Chastity Brown, as for the latter ain't got a clue who she is. Jamie T's previous album is not that far from re-entering the top 40 album chart, he should be a shoe in tomorrow.

September 30, 201411 yr Fingers crossed if its not this week then soon but sadly I can see this still being top 40 until October/November  Whatever happens I can definitely see that back in, as Christina and Whitney will probably drop out
September 30, 201411 yr Glad to see Jamie racking up some good first day sales! very little chance of him keeping the #1 tho of course, so it'd be nice to see George Ezra get there (tho chances are it'll just be Sam Smith again lol)
September 30, 201411 yr I'm happy to see Jamie T sell so well but I hope and think that George will take the #1 from him. I'd love his album to top the chart; it would be so deserved. Where is Ed Sheeran's X please?
