Reading the interview, it seems as though she is more bothered about the album than obtaining a hit single.

I'm just annoyed at the news that most of the songs' sales won't be eligible to chart. Therefore, she should have released it separately. :(

 

To be fair, the album pre-orders aren't actual sales of the song anyway!

Oh no, the video is stunning and she looks a DIAMOND but the song sounds slowed down and the best bit is out, WOT. I like the minimal approach she's gone for but i feel it needed a video that was as out there as the song is. :/

 

But that's a minor blip, i'm happy to see her away from the aesthetics of Electra Heart which really tired on me by the end.

I've been thinking the same. It's a beautiful video and she looks wonderful, but I'd have loved a zany video from her. A fruit machine one with lots of bright colours etc would've been amazing, although maybe a little clichéd I suppose!

Being the saddo that i am, i actually started to envisage and map out what i thought the video would be like as i blasted it in the shower :o she was actually a TREE bearing colourful fruit in my version and it was all sorts of amazing *_* Lol

I would've loved to see her go high-budget for a music video as I'm sure she will have enough money - even if it was mostly green-screened

 

I can see her with like dancing fruits and her laying in a field - like Only Girl In The World's field but yellower or darker for a winter video

Although I'm not a massive fan of the shortened version used in the video, it does sound a little more commercial and radio will be more likely to get behind it now it's a shorter length, IMO.

I can't believe this has grown on me as much as it has the 'come on full your cup up....' Is my favourite part along with the 'ohhhh ohhhh's before the bridge. I think the radio edit has cut out the weakest parts - not that I don't like them.
