wow the veronicas look like they have another top 10 on their hands!

There was me claiming a few weeks ago that they'd left it at least 4 years too late for anybody in the world (let alone in the UK) to show any interest. :o As a longtime fan of theirs I'm completely over the moon. I wonder how far it can go if it's steadily this high on pre-orders a month before release?

With Radio 1 backing too it could go top five I'm sure. It looks like it will do decently even without though at this point. And all because of Heart :o

Absolutely amazing. :wub: Such a beautiful song deserves recognition and I'm so ecstatic to see it's likely to be a moderately big sized hit for them! If they could do a 'Jar Of Hearts' that'd be GREAT! *.*

The Veronicas were one act I never expected to return to relevance especially as it's been five years since their last hit (and slightly longer since the only song they're actually remembered for charted) what a way to remove a one-hit wonder tag if it does do the business :o

I'm always amazed by their UK career trajectory. Untouched came out two years late, 4Ever was FOUR years late (and suffered from a lot of P!nk copycat allegations - oops but it came out a year before U + Ur Hand originally, so who copied who exactly!?!) and now we're somehow getting You Ruin Me only a month and a half after it's Australian debut, I thought we'd have to wait until the end of the decade for it :lol:

I'm sure it will be number 1 eventually, but I am quite surprised God Only Knows is still as low as 10, I thought it would've shot straight to number 1.

Not really that surprised at 'God Only Knows' being relatively low on iTunes, I suspect it will manage pretty good physical sales though.

Such an unexpected cast on the God Only Knows cover. The segue from Dave Grohl to Sam Smith is probably the most WTF.

No of course not, but what I mean is I don't think 'You Ruin Me' will have that level of success.

You say that when it's actually jumped up a lot since yesterday.... :P It was outside the top 200 yesterday and is now #138 in Jase's update, so a big improvement I think.

 

Given that its out on Sunday I'd say its surprising they're only up to 138! Not that it will stop it getting to number one sadly though as it went top 40 when it was first announced but I'm loving the fact that Watermat has been way above them for a few days now!!
