The lyric video alone suggests it's dated by at least 5 years.

I'm definitely disappointed by it. The 'air guitar' line is limp and just generally rubbish. The rest of the chorus/hook is OK and catchy but I was hoping for a lot more and it's not really delivered on the hype. :(

I think it's decent enough! Could be better, but it's a catchy little number that fits them perfectly.

 

It is quite significantly more Busted than McFly though, almost feels like picking up where they left off in 2004.

I love it. I do agree that it doesn't sound like much of a hit for this day and age, but I don't really care tbh. I just want new material! :lol:

Definitely threw me back to 2003! I think it's pretty catchy actually, should do well.

Agreed, the chorus is a bit weak compared to the rest of the song. I actually really like the verses and love the middle 8! It's definitely not gonna be a crossover hit though, and Radio 1 won't support it, so like most recent McFly singles it'll sadly spend one week in the Top 10, and then drop like a bomb.

The only bits I don't like are the "like this!" sections and and the guitar solo that follows them, as well as the beat that starts the song. Really like the verses/ choruses otherwise.

Really like this on first listen. Not surprised though, loved Busted back in the day!

Wasn't sure what to think on first listen, the chorus seems very cheesy, however after about the fifth listen I can't deny it - I'm hooked! Love it, hope it does well and people get behind it!

It reminds me a bit of 'Gives You Hell' by All American Rejects.

Its OK but nothing special, hopefully it can grow on me as I really like both bands.

But seriously this is alright, nothing spectacular (well what were people expecting) but it's catchy enough and is different to everything else around right now. Will have a Love Is On The Radio type chart run I feel.

 

I agree with the Gives You Hell comparison too.

It's probably because 'Gives You Hell' always sounded exactly like a Busted song.

That is the bit they changed. You can hear it back on the radio 1 website from this morning. The lyric now is "I guess I never should have sang Beyonce, or MJ.... so i dropped the mic"

That's ridiculous that they had to change that!!

 

Quite an alright video. I can't help but think this is heading for a surefire flop now though.
