Finally some good songs on the horizon with Clean Bandit, David Guetta and Alesso.

The pre-orders have looked extremely dull for the last month or so...

Joss Stone and McBusted though. :puke2:

Parra For Cuva up to number 4 :cheer:

Really hope this holds up now and charts top 10 on Sunday

It should do if it's still climbing. If it was falling, then you'd be right to be worried. I think this could have a decent chart run as it hasn't had that much support, so will be picking up more airplay over the next week or so to help it. :)

I wonder if 'C.U.B.A' will be combined with 'Open Wide', seeing as they are essentially the same song, just the latter has vocals and the former doesn't. I'd guess they won't be combined due to the different title and artist credit.
When was the last time 1 song was number 1 for a whole calendar month? Asking this as All about that Bass has been #1 every week in October!. Can't think of the last time this happened.

I think Blurred Lines may have been number 1 for the whole of June last year.

It's depending if you're going with the actual dates it hit/remained number 1 or the "week-ending" dates.

The last undisputed time this happened was probably going all the way back to Bleeding Love...

How about February this year with Rather Be?

YASS! Smash it OneRepublic *.*

SO happy that they're looking at a very likely 4th top 10 single from this era! :o

Well Money On My Mind hit number 1 on 23rd Feb but the official week-ending date was the 1st March, so really as I said it depends on how you view it.

Just googled and you were correct Blurred Lines was number 1 every week in June 2013. Had a feeling it might have been but wasn't 100 % like you

The 2 previous 'Motion' singles have just been made instant grats:

9. Open Wide (feat. Big Sean) - Calvin Harris

10. Under Control (feat. Hurts) - Calvin Harris & Alesso

20. Summer - Calvin Harris

'Blame' at #13 is still the single version and that hasn't been made an instant grat. All very odd. (And 'Outside' is also still not available for some reason as well).

Wow, getting two aging No.1 singles straight away is such an incentive to pre-order

Why is Don't #19? Is it being used somewhere?

Edit: well, it was #19 until Calvin's instant grats pushed it down to #22.

Ed Sheeran's tracks are all just getting a boost from his X-Factor performance...

It's strange though because Sing, which a snippet was played of in his video intro, has stalled while Don't is still increasing.
