Simply staggering sales for Taylor. How does she do it? I'm so pleased that the UK have caught up with the US when it comes to the mass-obsession with her. It also feels like the first proper pop mammoth of the year.

It's a fabulous album.

This has to be the first time a songs been number one that I have no feeling towards whatsoever...Thinking Out Loud for me is about as beige as...well beige. I just don't get the appeal but at least Meghan will only tie with Clean Bandit's run at number one!

Yay for Wicked Games at 3!! As long as this holds steady through the week I can see this staying top 10 and ending up around 6/7 maybe but I'm hoping for top 5

"Wicked Games" is No.3?? This is a pleasant suprise!
Excellent sales for Taylor and a nice boost for album sales for this week, and then we have poor Nicole Scherzinger, this era has gone so wrong and she appears to have put so much into this album eg, scraping an album scrapping further tracks, adding new songs, changing singles etc, the material just wasnt up to it in comparison to singles from her previous album. Nicole really needs to work with the right people for album 3 or she is screwed.

Or maybe she should only focus on the yogurts.

We don't generally get any info on the compilation chart.

No worries, i look forward to Sunday to see its sales - Annie Mac being out too should make for a decent top 3 sales!

And the new Pop Party album. They seem to sell at an alarmingly high rate physically as Xmas draws closer.

Cant remember the Pop Party albums sales but yeh it usually would sell well as an alternative to Now in the coming weeks!
If Ed Sheeran stays at no.1 he will make chart history, the most weeks on chart to get to no.1 (19), the previous record i think was 16 week (celine Dion, Dead Or Alive)

Jessie Ware on course for a third week in the top 40 :o Hope it can close in on Gold like Devotion but that had mercury prize hype
Do we think Taylor Swift is set for 100k this week then?

Not far short, at worst.
