His gold-selling debut album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and contained the top-ten singles, "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". His second studio album, Ready for the Weekend (2009), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and includes "I'm Not Alone", which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, the top-five hit "Ready for the Weekend", and the singles "Flashback" and "You Used to Hold Me".

In October 2012, Harris released his third studio album, 18 Months, which contained the singles, "Bounce", "Feel So Close", "Let's Go", "We'll Be Coming Back", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love", and "Thinking About You". All of these singles reached the UK top 10. Harris has also written and produced tracks for other recording artists, including Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dizzee Rascal, Cheryl Cole, Rita Ora, Example, and Rihanna's internationally successful single, "We Found Love", which gave him his first US #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Harris is set to release his fourth studio album, Motion, on 3 November 2014.

Harris holds the record for the most top ten hits from one studio album on the UK Singles Chart with nine hits, surpassing Michael Jackson. According to Forbes, Harris was the highest paid DJ of 2013 and 2014. - iTunes

After checking out Calvin's album, I'm not a fan of the lyrics, but this is one of the more instrumentally-interesting tracks!

'Open Wide'

Outrageous they haven't made a radio edit to play this properly!

Aww I thought OneRepublic would climb - are they really suffering from lack of streams?

Biography

OneRepublic is an American pop rock band from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, the band achieved commercial success on MySpace as an unsigned act. In 2003, the band was discovered by actress Kelly Barrett in Hollywood who connected them directly with her cousins Jimmy Ienner and Donnie Ienner, who was the President of Sony at that time, by making one phone call to get the AR Reps to their show. They then signed to Sony BMG for three years, before moving to Mosley Music Group.

In 2007, OneRepublic released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud. Its lead single, "Apologize" was notably remixed by Timbaland, becoming a huge international success, reaching number one in sixteen countries, subsequently earning them a Grammy Award nomination. The second single, "Stop and Stare" mirrored its predecessor's success. The album was later certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The band's second album, Waking Up (2009), produced the successful singles, "All the Right Moves", "Secrets", "Marchin On", and "Good Life", the latter reaching the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100.

OneRepublic's third album, Native (2013), became the band's first top ten album on the Billboard 200, and highest charting album to date, charting at number four. The lead single, "If I Lose Myself" charted within the top ten in several countries, while the album's third single, "Counting Stars", became the band's most successful single in recent years, obtaining top five placements in Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, the U.S. and the UK. This marks their highest charting single in the United Kingdom to date. It has also peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100, matching their highest peak of "Apologize" in 2007. - Wikipedia

Celebrities getting the Horn, could that get in to Jameelas Top 40 Moments

Oops I thought this was 'Ugly Heart' after the first two secs...

But this is so inferior to that, so incredibly vapid :(

I Lived is boring so looks like I'll be playing Open Wide myself while that happens once again (last week it was in place of Sing)

No reply back from Jameela Jamil or Radio 1 after I tweeted her about the "Jameela's Top40 Moments'.

To be fair 'Open Wide' isn't actually a single which is probably why they haven't bothered making an edit. Still quite annoying that they can't play it when it's far more interesting a song than most of the rest of the top 40 though.
Is it shocking that there's no radio edit for Open Wide? It's not even a single (yet) :P
Presumably just the XF boost wearing off?

It's #22 on iTunes though. Haven't kept track on where it was during the week so perhaps it's just going up now.
