It's on Idina Menzel's Christmas album. Not sure why anyone would want to hear her sing Christmas songs but there you go~

When was her XMas album released?

I think he's going to get dropped  Why must this happen to me?

But no, seriously, I think he'll just release his next single in the new year and as hopefully it's a collab with a R1 friendly artist so that he'll get playlisted. Whilst The Days hasn't exactly set the charts alight worldwide, it did go to #1 in his home country (Sweden) so the album will definitely get released. The promo team will probably just treat this as a buzz single and start the Stories campaign properly next year with a big UK chart smash :D

Should he go back to his Battery Pack era, or is he a bit past that now? (Levels, Silhouettes, X You, I Could Be The One (Nicktim) (literally my favourite song ever    )

It's actually a really good album!

But does she sing proper songs or just Frozen-style tracks?

It's just a number of the usual Christmas classics with a musical theatre twist, which would be expected given her career has largely been Broadway based.

Every time I check the No2/3 on iTunes has gained 2-5% - one week at the top anyone? It's not like airplay will be huge until December!

40. Nicole Scherzinger - Run

Can't believe this is going to miss the top 40 this week, I'm not going to hold much optimism of it peaking within the top 40 unless airplay dramatically picks up. Poor Girl.

Last time this query cropped up I believe she was still a few hundred thousand behind Jason Mraz? That was a while back now so it may well have since overtook, plus for all I know Jason Mraz might not even be the biggest selling non-top 10

I was looking into this earlier actually. I'm pretty certain Jason Mraz IS the biggest-selling non-top 10, and the last sales Vidcapper has for it is 750k as of March this year. At the rate it's been selling, I estimate that by the end of this year it will be on around 775k. Idina, meanwhile, is currently on 743k so if she continues to sell at even 10k/week for the rest of the year, she should easily overtake by year end. I'd quite like to see it become the biggest-selling non-top 10 single!

Leona Lewis "One More Sleep" #370.

Doing quite well! I'm pretty sure a lot of the Xmas songs ahead of it is due to them being featured on the Now That's What I Call Christmas! compilation. Will be interesting to see how it does come December because I know one Radio DJ said he'd be playing the song a lot to try and make it a Xmas classic! And hopefully Heart will get on board too (Heart Essex recently gave a play to Mariah's AIWFCIY, so expect Xmas songs to pick up in airplay quite a bit in the next couple weeks). :D

I really want it to take off again, its a shame she probably won't do any promo for it as I do believe it has the potential to become a classic.

Veronicas are back up to 16 now which makes it look better for some longevity

42 Lorde Yellow Flicker Beat

This is risen quite a lot since the film came out yesterday. Nice that it's still on the Radio 1 playlist this week to accompany the film for 4 days. Last year, after keeping Atlas on the playlist for a ridiculous amount of time, they chose to take it off the week before the film's release, which made no sense to me.

Ideally Lorde would be on the A-list next week - or even just kept on the B-list, but she's been taken off. She could have probably scored another top 40.
