not like i made a thread or anything...

what's the matter now?

Some interesting song choices on the Jutebox surprisingly. I would love Andrea to do 'Heartless' for something different from him and 'Family Portrait' is my favourite P!nk song by far and is so under used so would love to hear Fleur's take. Unfortunately I can see the public going with the obvious choices though (although If I Ain't Got You would be fab for Fleur anyway).

Song predictions:

Andrea Faustini - Hero (although Respect wouldn't surprise me)

Lauren Platt - Story Of My Life

Stereo Kicks - Fix You

Ben Haenow - Thinking Out Loud

Fleur East - If I Ain't Got You

Hope there will be some upbeat songs for their other choice (presuming they have 2 songs each).

My votes:

Andrea

Kanye West - Heartless

Lauren

Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child

Stereo Kicks

Phil Collins - Against All Odds ('cause I want them out!)

Ben

Joe Cocker - With a Little Help From My Friends ('cause no one show be allowed to touch You Are So Beautiful after Alexandra's iconic rendition)

Fleur

P!nk - Family Portrait

Haven't we already had Queen week??

We have, it's not the theme this week, they're performing instead :P

Ugh don't let Andrea do Heartless please. It'll probably be a rehash of Samantha Jades performance on the Australian X Factor and I'm sure it has been performed in the same style on the US X factor as well

Mel was even a judge in that series so she'd just blatantly be ripping off Samantha  I think it would be good for Andrea but I agree, if he's going to do something different I'd rather it wasn't copycat still!

The biggest copycat crime on XF was surely Simon stealing Gamu Nhengu's version of "Walking on Sunshine" for Rachel Crow. Scandalous.

Andrea: Kanye West - Heartless

Lauren: Chaka Khan - Ain't Nobody or Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child

Stereo Kicks: Snow Patrol - Run

Ben: Joe Cocker - With a Little Help From My Friends

Fleur: P!nk - Family Portrait

Those are my votes. I'm torn between those two for Lauren though. I love "Ain't Nobody" and want to see it being performed but I don't think it'll suit her. But at the same time I don't want to hear "Don't You Worry Child" for the millionth time even though I think she'll do a good job of it.

Unrelated to that performance or this statement but any excuse to post this iconic Rachel moment:

Oh. Surely it would have made sense to align the two?! I don't think anyone would have shed tears at the prospect of hearing overplayed Queen songs in week seven rather than week four...

Andrea & Stereo Kicks for bottom 2 hopefully with SK getting the push. They just act like little 12 year old schoolboys.

 I know what you mean, it's very odd, although I think they were originally gonna have disco week at that stage instead!

6.0 Ben Haenow - Come Together

what a weak version of that song, didn't do anything for me but he'll predictably get "you were amazing" comments

Anyone here?

That was definitely the line of performance and song choice that Ben seems most comfortable doing, it was a big improvement on last week but he's a case of 'no matter what he does, you'll never love it' for me, and that's purely because I don't like the tone of his voice when he does the YARGHHHH kinda gravelly screams, just not my thing. One of his better performances though, I'll give him that.

Ben Haenow - 'Come Together' / 7/10
