Okay, this is actually really great. Not sure if it is a big hit as such but it is one of the most interesting things she has put her name to, definitely.

this is all good and well but it really isn't going to be a hit outside of the Internet is it?

It's a nice enough track but there's no way on earth will this be a smash in the charts.

I don't even think Radio will hammer this like what they did with 'I Will Never Let You Down'. I don't think this is single material in the slightest and I could see it easily missing the top 10.

Really? Capital are already on board with it and I can't see Radio 1 snubbing her either. I can't see it missing the top 10, and it'll probably be top 5.

it's rita ora, the amount of people invested in turning her into the next rihanna will ensure this turns out to be at least somewhat of a hit, there's no way it'll be merely an 'internet hit'. top three - sales around 40-50k.

Don't be ridiculous, Jack! 28th June :D

I know what Jark means though, fanbase pre-orders usually manage to get straight to the top 100 at least, even if it's very brief.

Lyric video:

Yeah. I'm fully on board with this now. It's absolutely wonderful

The middle 8 is so glorious :( As are the lyrics to the first verse, Kate Nash should lend her hand to more pop songs.
It does sound like an internet hit, the kind of stuff Unovia would send to BJSC, strong pop music but not a hit (no shade Liam!). Really enjoying it though so I hope it turns out as a hit.
I was reading the IWNLTD forum, well also back in the days there were lots of mixed reviews and it ended #1 with 105k, the pre-order peak reached #125 four days after it was put on itunes. There is a fact with pre-orders, that it is mainly based on fans, and seems Rita has not a big group of fans following her; but she has songs radiofriendly appealing to a wide audience of "buyers". The song is already up for streaming plus on the week she is releasing there are not any BIG competitors yet plus Capital already playlisted and BBC 1 will probably follow soon after

Oh no I didn't mean that, I just read somebody on popjustice say it was on iTunes now. Fortunately I have the German version of deezer so I don't have to wait weeks to stream it :D

Gave this a listen a couple of days ago and it was not what I was expecting at all! In a good way however, it's really understated and rather lush. I agree it doesn't sound like a HUGE no.1 per se, however I think it's likely to do well on name alone and with huge support such as Capital already on board, and hopefully radio 1 likely to follow. Very impressed!

Emotional performance at BBC R1's Big Weekend :(

I really like her personally and I acknowledge that she's actually a rather strong singer but she definitely struggles to perform that live without the aid of her backing vocals.

I'm loving this though, very brave move before the album is out but a strong one too!
