The song may be real, but it won't ever see the light of day. They obviously chose Headlines over Memories, as they're similar themes. They won't both be released.

Any solo updates? Tho no point in askin cause im sure any recent solo sales will be poor!
i think but im not sure the greatest hits sold 320,000 in the uk,,again im not sure

 

No it has to be more than that because at the end of 2007 it had sold 325,966 well according to the end of year album chart on here.

Headlines had sold 41,250 at the end of 2007, tho i doubt there wont have been much on an increase to those sales!

It is also up on Amazon now. Both say 31st May which is a Friday which is the start of a new tracking week for the chart so the release date checks out.

I've wanted Greatest Hits on vinyl for yeaaaars.

 

I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed about it being a picture disc though! That's a format that is more for aesthetic purposes, because they often sound... not great. Normal vinyl tends to suffer a dip in quality if more than 22 minutes of music is pressed onto one side, so a picture disc that has ~28 minutes of music per side doesn't fill me with confidence.

 

Of course I'll buy it, and I'm sure it'll look cute... but I don't anticipate playing it much.

 

So far, signs point to it being a US release... at least, Amazon UK lists the record label as Virgin Records US.

Wait so this is a limited edition of the GH? Here's hoping so and a normal vinyl will also be released later..
