Happy to see Let It Go doing so well, those sales are huge! I love the big belt note at the end, the song is so magical and definitely one of the best disney songs ever.

 

West Coast is nice too, I did get a bit sick of it but I did really like it. It's quite a weird song really, sounds like two completely different ones.

 

For The First Time In Forever and Love Is An Open Door are the only disney songs I dislike in Frozen, both are just monstrosities. FTFTIF reprise is amazing though, Idina slays it once again and the song is just a lot stronger.

Wow, I would have thought choosing between 'Let It Go' and 'Shake It Off' would have been impossible for you but glad to read there was an outright winner and it didn't cause you too much distress! Also great to see 'West Coast' do so well as it's a real gem and pretty underrated I feel.

Those sales for Let It Go *.* I do think that top 2 is fully worthy, they're both great songs, Shake it Off marked a real turnaround for Taylor that was continued with Blank Space. Let It Go I only loved since seeing Frozen, makes so much more sense and feels so much better knowing the context of it.

So kicking of the top 5 is Kristen Bell and potential #1 contender Idina Menzel with For The First Time In Forever from movie masterpiece Frozen. The song spent 4 weeks at its peak of #2 and is the highest song in this countdown to not reach the number #1 spot. The track spent 20 weeks inside the top 10 despite never hitting the top spot and 36 weeks inside the top 40. This is definitely one of my favourite songs from Frozen and it has sold over 2 Million total sales

I absolutely adore Ella's debut album Chapter One which spent 2 weeks at #1 in my chart and has shifted over 1.3M copies since mid October. The album would have spent 8 weeks at #1 if 1989 didn't exist as it has spent 6 weeks in the runner up spot behind Taylor's 5th album. There are many album highlights including Ghost which is still to come and Mirror Man and Empire which I hope both become singles :wub:

Exactly, people should hate a song on the basis of quality. When I heard the UKIP Calypso, I thought to myself that if Nigel Farage wants to be the country's next prime minister, making an awful ''song'' is not the way to get yourself votes. To think people actually bought that song is scary.
