Does seem strange, its a very radio-friendly song which I would have expected to go at least top 40.

Union J's recent hit is a bit weak tbh compared to CY and LYIE. I reckon Blank Space will have a chance next Sunday at #1 if Ed's performance boost wears off :banana:

I'm sure there are other stations playing it, but for the charts it's mainly Capital FM that matters (Radio 1 also matters, and Heart FM a bit, the other stations have a negligible effect in my experience).

 

But also this song is nowhere near as good as Am I Wrong (at least in my opinion).

Looking at the latest on Kworb, I'm guessing UJ will jump up to 4 post performance... There is a bit of gap after that.

 

Unless something weird happens like after Labrinth performed BUB and that stormed to number 1; but I can't see that happening

Forgot she was performing - yeah could well happen - especially seeing as it got a fairly big boost just off the back of being used on Hollyoaks.

It's unlikely they'll need that many CD sales to contend for a return to the top (for a week anyway, the XF winner the following week will of course be a much bigger challenger) so I think it's very possible.

Well there was Ella - really good performance IMO. Must be coming for top 10 at the very least I'd think.

That Ella performance was stunning. Perfect vocal.

 

Union J sang really well too, shame about the awful song.
