I think it's going to be Taylor Swift who's going to dislodge UJ from the top - she's gaining on Ed a fair but. However they haven't had a red update on Kworb yet

I think it's more down to that fact barely anyone had heard Union J's single before the XF. They've reached out to a different audience, as well as their core fanbase with this. The UK public love a big simple, pop ballad in the winter. This is very radio friendly enough to appeal to anyone who watches XF I think.

Barely anyone... apart from the masses of Heart FM listeners? :P

My dad listens to Heart in the car and he tells me they play the song a lot.

Oh right. I was under the impression that it got next to no airplay (but strong TV rotation) so apologies! :o

But anyway, The Killers have a new Christmas single released tomorrow (it premieres 11.35pm EST on Jimmy Kimmel, so it won't be on until tomorrow morning I think :() so they'll be ready to sleigh all bases, yet again. And smash the iTunes chart to pieces with a peak of #20-something, before falling swiftly out the top 100!

Oh I was wondering when/if we'd get the new Killers Christmas single, they've been pretty quiet this year.

and Capital as well.

Latest update has Ed gaining a lot again, gaining 0.04 on Union J (despite them not even dropping). Strange after he was decreasing in the last few updates and almost on the verge of being overtaken by Taylor
Yeah Ed must've received a boost from somewhere this evening. :)

So did Itunes do the 59p discount for some of the Xmas tracks that they do sometimes?

'Fraid not this week.

'Fraid not this week.

Oh well, a little disapointing.

Hopefully they do it next week, I'm desperate to see if OMS is included and to see it rise if so.

Oh there's no 59p batch this week :(

I'm expecting Union J to be around 10,000 ahead of Ed in tomorrows midweeks but I don't think they'll be able to remain at #01 as I'm sure Ed will manage to put together a 10%+ gap tomorrow. Still it's incredible that 'You Got It All' is going to be an #02 and I do think it will stick around longer than expected.

01. Union J - You Got It All

32. Union J Feat The Vamps - You Got It All

02. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

61. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

17. Sia - Chandelier

100. Sia - Chandelier

Coming for that top 15!

118. Leona Lewis - One More Sleep :o

144. Demi Lovato - Give Me Love
