215. Fifth Harmony - Bo$$ (pre-order)

I thought they were promoting Sledgehammer. Changed their mind after seeing it only smash in Portugal (at #45) whereas BO$$ was a minor US hit (#43) I guess.

'Sledgehammer' is on its way to become their biggest US radio hit so far from what I gather, but 'Bo$$' is probably more unique and will result in either a very big hit or nothing at all from one performance whereas 'Sledgehammer' would probably be the safer choice but only be a smaller-sized hit from one performance.

I don't honestly see what good performing 'Bo$$' over 'Sledgehammer' will do, especially as that song flopped in the US and some of the terms they use in the song aren't even relevant in the UK. I know I said it in their thread, but it really dumbfounds me.

 

'Sledgehammer' could show what they're capable of vocally and has bags more hit potential, plus it's set to actually outperform 'Bo$$' in the US. Baffling...

Oh YESSSS! Really hope this proves to be a success for them. Such a great song. I remember 'Move' receiving a very similar reception and I think this will be a bigger hit here in the UK, over 'Sledgehammer' (even though I personally prefer SH).

 

EDIT: Oh and '2 On' really needs to hurry up and hit the top 40 soon! :drama: TOO good to flop and go by unnoticed!

The 'Bo$$' sudden increase could be down to the pre-order price being decreased from £1.29 to 99p (for both tracks!) - great idea! :D
