And has any other single spent its first two weeks in the top 10 and then dropped out of the top 40?

 

No other #1 single only has 2 weeks top 40. (Not even any of the Elvis re-issues had <3 weeks in their 2005 runs).

Shame about Shake it off...Taylor done it to herself by removing everything of spotify IMO

Biography

Best known for her Tony-nominated performance in the Broadway smash Rent, singer/actress Idina Menzel made her solo debut in 1998 with the pop-soul effort Still I Can't Be Still. She joined the cast for Wicked in 2003 and appeared on the recording that same year, while 2004 saw her releasing the album Here. The following year, Menzel appeared on the soundtrack to the television show Desperate Housewives, and a duet with Ray Charles (which the pair had recorded back in 1998) found its way onto the tribute album Genius & Friends. Biography

Pierre David Guetta (born November 7, 1967) is a French DJ and producer of electro music. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007).

 

Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", and "Sexy Bitch", all three of which reached #1 in the United Kingdom, and "Memories". The 2011 followup album, Nothing but the Beat, continued this success, containing the hit singles "Where Them Girls At", "Little Bad Girl", "Without You", "Titanium" and "Turn Me On".

How this is so low I'll never know. Expected top 10 at the very least! Decent song but there are much better on what is a brilliant Guetta album!

That's not really 'arguable', it is just a fact :P PJ & Duncan's 'Let's Get Ready To Rhumble' similarly had 3 weeks in the top 40 in its re-entry (1-6-32-x) in addition to several weeks in its original run.

 

First time hearing the studio version of 'What I Did For Love'. Sounding OKAY, the best thing Emeli has been associated with for a while at least. Not great though.
