I can't stop watching Fleurs performance. She is just mesmerizing to watch.

Same! I haven't quite played a performance from the XF like this, since Little Mix's final performances (more specifically 'Silent Night').

 

It really was the "moment" she needed and I am really, pleasantly surprised at the positive reception towards it! Everyone I've spoken to about it are blown away by her and the performance to (not to use too much hyperbole :lol:).

It's the best since Little Mix's Don't Let Go for me! I keep watching as well, like today we had a free hour becusse my psychology teacher wasn't in, I went on youtube for music and just couldn't stop repeating it <3

Echoing the love for Fleur's "Uptown Funk". Performance of the series and the second that I've purchased from iTunes.

 

This source says that Meghan will be performing both "All About that Bass" and "Lips Are Movin'", Sam Smith is singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and Ed Sheeran is likely to perform "Make it Rain".

I feel it's being RATHER overrated tbh. Yes it was good and easily the standout performance of the night but it certainly isn't up there in terms of X Factor history. At All. Might be that I'm just put off because I don't like the song but other than some slick dance moves there really wasn't anything that special to it. Will You Be There is still by far my favourite of her performances.

I hope Taylor is a last minute sign up and signed up to duet. Her and Fleur doing 'Shake It Off' (it could be quite the duet moment Fleur needs over Andrea & Ben who I presume will get Sam Smith & Ed) and then of course, TS could perform 'Blank Space' soon after.

I really hope these 2 happen as they are both amazing and can both put on a show. I like Sam and Ed but they are both quite boring and have like nothing notably new to promote. Meghan is the only one of the confirmed guests I am looking forward to, I adore her :wub:

I really don't even think any of the acts that have been announced already will be the people who are duetting with the final 3 . They never announce straight away who they are duetting with. I think people are just jumping to conclusions tbh.

Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one who's tired of Sam Smith. His omnipresence is too much for me now like Ed. Both need a big break imo.

I've had the reverse effect on Sam Smith. :lol: Got sick to bloody death of him during MOMM/SWM, but since INTOO I've been slowly appreciating him. Due to 'Like I Can' being pretty damn great, I decided to check his album out today, I was actually impressed! :o

Just watched semi final performances...I can't believe that Ben guy is favorite over Fleur.

 

And indeed I agree with Mel B (all the boo's she got it's quiet worrying actually) about the TOL performance...he sounded so bad and he couldn't hold a note.

Eveyrone mentions what a lovely guy he is, I'm sure he's nice but he has a bit of an arrogant air I don't like. He gets quite defensive sometimes too, as if he's exempt from criticism. Mel can be a bit twat but a lot of the time what she says is the general consensus on my twitter :lol:

 

He's not the favourite though :P Fleur is. With the bookies anyway, I still think he'll win though. If he wasn't even bottom 2 on awful performances like Hallelujah, TOL and I Will Always Love You then he clearly has a huge fanbase.

I agree with you about Hallelujah and I will always Love you being bad choices and not his best performances but I think TOL was great and that week made him favourite (before Fleur with UF) I prefer his voice on it to Ed's. Mel clearly has a problem with him on Live shows (she adored him in auditions so it must be Andrea or Simon telling her to test the water) But I love his voice anyway at that level. The overall point is correct though, he can have terrible song choices and still be safe. If he gets songs that suit him this weekend, he could do it.

He has a much better voice than Fleur, Fleur is mostly smoke and Mirrors, huge performances to cover vocal weakness. They are very different which makes the final interesting (if they are the final two, where will Andrea's votes go?) Very similar to Olly Murs when he was on the show, massive production to cover his shortcomings.

This seems like an odd thing to say :unsure: Perhaps she's just offering her own criticism to help him improve rather than praising him and making out as if he's the best thing since sliced bread? Why does she have to have been told to say it? Mel just likes to speak her mind.
