December 16, 201411 yr Surely he has sold more than that? If it decreases before Thursday UF has a real chance imo. Edited December 16, 201411 yr by steve201
December 16, 201411 yr Twitter Mint Royale I wonder how many copies Ben Haenow has sold so far. 74,663 copies! There's a chance the winners single might be pushed to no. 2 by a record that was only released because it was performed on the Xfactor. Simon Cowell may have actually knackered his winner's chance of a number 1. It all depends on how much of a first day bump Ben Haenow got, if he tails off Uptown Funk isn't that far behind and selling well. Sheeran sold 54,647 albums yesterday, Although I'd like that prospect,it still means a big lead over no. 2,how can that change? It's unlikely.
December 16, 201411 yr 75,000 copies is pretty good. The viewing figures were the lowest this year so he isn't doing too badly. With physicals it is likely to get to 200k perhaps more and Sam Bailey only managed 150,000. It also has a chance of beating Little Mix who sold 210,000.
December 16, 201411 yr That info about Ed's album isn't clear -- he sold 54,647 yesterday alone or that amount over Sunday and Monday?
December 16, 201411 yr Sam Bailey's first day sales were 45k, so Ben will surely outdo her 150k. But isn't think after 2 days, not one? We had a Monday update for Sam last year if I remember correctly?

December 16, 201411 yr What were J Arthur's sales? Just for comparison 187K for the first 24 hours after X Factor finished that series. that was the week before Christmas. He sold 76K on Christmas week (tuesday mids) but obviously got overtaken by The Justice Collective. Edited December 16, 201411 yr by HonkBonkXMAS
December 16, 201411 yr Ben will easily be #1. And I'm relieved, as I very nearly put a bet on Bruno Mars at 33/1 before they suspended betting.

December 16, 201411 yr 187k for first 24 hours? And the week total? Amazing, considering where he is now. Impossible was a great choice of song and he was a very popular winner until he messed things up. I think it was one of the longest top 40 runs for an XF winner - it was still top 40 until March the following year - in comparison to the rest which are in the bargin bins before January's out!
