January 4, 201511 yr Britney needs to release something quickly to freshen up the charts. Edited January 4, 201511 yr by ▲Rob▲
January 4, 201511 yr One of the best hits of 2014 I'm so glad this smashed. Adele who?? I keep going to the river to slay..
January 4, 201511 yr Ella Henderson has peaked with this I reckon, the rest of her material is so subpar.
January 4, 201511 yr Typical that the one Ella track I've fully been on board with is the one absent from the chart. :(
January 4, 201511 yr Ah so he has more hits between 74-79 under the Wings name?! That explains the gaps! Yes, in fact his biggest-selling single ever was 'Mull Of Kintyre' in 1977. Most reference books just list the Wings hits in his solo entry, arguably a bit of a diss to the other members of Wings.
January 4, 201511 yr Britney needs to release something quickly to freshen up this chart a bit! But Britney isn't likely to chart in this day and age with a new release.
January 4, 201511 yr Ella Henderson's FIRST EVER number one http://profile.ak.fbcdn.net/hprofile-ak-xpa1/t5.0-1/41787_138659892838767_2273_q.jpg is still sounding VERY fresh, easily my favorite by her.
January 4, 201511 yr The first single from Ella's second album will make or break her career I reckon.
January 4, 201511 yr I like just about every single I heard from last era, that was just beyond awful though. Not a hating Kanye thang but then some people seem to eat up anything he does because OH MY GOD IT'S YEEZUS LOL1!11, just as much as the "haters". I agree and I am undoubtedly slightly guilty of this myself but what I meant was even people who are usually not fans of Kanye seem to mostly be really liking 'Only One' from what I've seen elsewhere on the Internet.

Skipping the usual apprenticeship in the clubs or on indie labels, Harris went from posting his own D.I.Y. electroclash music online through MySpace and similar sites, to signing with the multinational giant EMI almost in a single step. A short time later, he was producing material for Kylie Minogue, Dizzee Rascal, and Rihanna. Born on January 17, 1984, in the southern Scotland city of Dumfries, Harris was first attracted to electronic music in his teens and was recording bedroom demos by 1999. Two of these songs, "Da Bongos" and "Brighter Days," were released as a 12" club single and CD-EP by the Prima Facie label in early 2002 under the artist name Stouffer. With that single to his credit, the still teenaged Harris moved from Scotland to London, but as a very small fish in one of the world's largest and most competitive ponds, Harris floundered; only one of his songs was released during his time in London, "Let Me Know" with vocalist Ayah on the Unabombers' 2004 live-mix CD Electric Soul, Vol. 2. Returning home to Dumfries, Harris began posting homemade solo recordings to his MySpace page. An A&R representative from EMI liked what he heard and signed Harris to the label in 2006. Following a pair of successful singles, Harris released his debut album, I Created Disco, in the summer of 2007. It featured two Top Ten hits ("Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls"), and climbed high in the album charts. Along with his work as a solo artist, including touring in front of a full live band, Harris quickly became an in-demand remixer — working on singles by Jamiroquai, Groove Armada, All Saints, and CSS. He also wrote and produced songs for Kylie Minogue's 2007 comeback album, and collaborated with Dizzee Rascal on "Dance wiv Me," which reached number one in the U.K. "I'm Not Alone," the first single from his second album, also hit number one upon release in April 2009, as did the album when it appeared that August. That album, Ready for the Weekend, topped the U.K. album chart and peaked at number 12 on Billboard's U.S. dance/electronic chart. Through 2011, Harris took on production work for Example, Tinchy Stryder, and Rihanna ("We Found Love," a quadruple-platinum hit in the U.S.), while he also issued two more of his own singles (the Kelis collaboration "Bounce" and "Feel So Close"). Harris' third solo album, 18 Months, was a collaboration-filled affair that featured "We Found Love" and "Bounce" plus vocal spots from Ellie Goulding, Florence Welch, and Ne-Yo, among others. It was released in October of 2012. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): Calvin Harris 2007 10 Acceptable In The 80s -1- 2007 03 The Girls -2- 2007 43 Merrymaking At My Place -3- 2008 01 Dance Wiv Me (Dizzee Rascal Feat. January 4, 201511 yr But Britney isn't likely to chart in this day and age with a new release. Hush with your negativity!
January 4, 201511 yr Can he release Dollar Signs next please? he can wait until he releases Pray To God. :hitler:
January 4, 201511 yr Newman retaining that relevancy into the nu yearrr! Still love this though, Calvin is still very capable of producing smashes even if his album on the whole was a bit of a disappointment.
January 4, 201511 yr I still really like this, infinitely better than 'Summer'. I'm growing to quite dislike 'Outside' now though. :(
January 4, 201511 yr Can he release Dollar Signs next please? 🙌 It NEEDS to be Pray to God, heard it the other day and it's so good  (plus Haim getting a proper big hit would be amaze)
