I'm very positive that Rita would get much more love if she was someone who flopped constantly and/or UK wouldn't give her a chance...I can definitely see comments 'Oh she is so good, I don't get the UK for not giving this girl a chance etc etc' lol.

Unfortunately hating on Rita is very in vogue and most of the people doing it just sound like misogynistic pricks.

Personally I find her quite fabulous, entirely talented, and if she's sleeping with a shit ton of famous men then good for her!

I agree, I dont get the hate. It is boring.

That said, her first album was pretty terrible minus the singles.

My hatred stems pretty much from the fact she released three of the worst imaginable singles in 2012, she seems a bit annoying too but there are worse celebs guilty of that in the personality stakes so I don't really care about who she is or what she does in her personal life.

I'm counting 'I Will Never Let You Down' as a one off for her, but if the rest of her second era lives up to it then fair game.

Someone said something a while ago about Rita that she seems to be more interested in the celebrity lifestyle aspect with the music being a hinderance to achieve this and I wholeheartedly agree with that. All of her singles sound completely different which suggests there is no idea of what artist she wants to be and it's just a pick of the best of whatever is offered to you regardless of the overall theme/sound. Yes it's good to be versatile but perhaps spread this more over albums.

I quite agree, I can't see (if you're a pop fan) how you can hate Rita so much, she delivers pretty high quality pop tracks, is working with good producers rather than just dragging up old Christina demos etc! I can accept that she does seem to like the fame side of it, but as Jark said she is actually very talented so it's not like she's achieving such fame without the talent to back it up.

This is very pop but I quite like it. Quite a chilled out pop song aswell.
Really loving this. It's ridiculously 80's and quite 80's Madonna-ish. I believe this could be a big hit over here and in the US. Two Brits on the same track smashing it in America is always a good thing to me. :D
Ooh, really liked that! :D Hopefully it'll return Charli to the Top 10.

I don't hate Rita Ora, but I've never liked her music bar IWNLYD.

I'm not crazy for Doing It either, it's a bit underwhelming, BUT I think Rita Ora makes it more interesting and I'd rather have her than Piggy Azalea.

I prefer the track without Rita Ora's vocals on it, but overall I quite like it on first listen, potential to grow on me.
This song is actually f***ing great. Not sure it will be a hit but it sure is a tune. It's sooo blissfully end of summer
This is BRILLIANT, their voices go so well together and I can't see me tiring of it as quickly as Break the Rules either.

Really loving this now. Charli sounds great on it and Rita doesn't take much away from it.

I think it's a much better song than 'Break The Rules' (Sorry Aly!) This had better smash, it has top 10 written all over it.

You prefer the track without Rita on it but this is your first listen? I'm confuzzled. How do you know the Rita-less version is better without having listened to it? Maybe I've misunderstood you haha.

Agreed with Lew, this is great! Maybe not on the same level as 'Break the Rules', but not much in the past year has been!
